Success..At Last..Please Read

Article Marketing is only useful if you can create "twists" in your ways to carry it out. I guess like they all say here think outside the box on this one.

I do not know of a better, and more legit way to get keyword rich backlinks to your site... it all comes back to my first point. Write SUPER HIGH quality articles, take your time, and they will land in places that other shitbag articles simply would not. I spend about 50-60 per article...why? because I know I will make it back for sure over time.

I hope this makes sense, but it is my philosophy since about 3 months ago
It is either I waste my time, and the directories time submitting broken english, or regurgitated content, or actually pay for real solid content, or hey I might even write myself sometimes...it is the rewrites that drive me up a wall...WordFlood is time consuming but powerful. Did I mention Unique Resource boxes are key?

What looks worse to google then the exact same anchor texted link and the same surrounding text on the same article in the same SEO directories? Again, these are just estimations of what Big G thinks, no one knows for sure. In testing, I can promise that I have had positive results in my methods.. Time is all it takes.

Jeff, congrats on your success. Seems like you've got a good plan and that you've discovered the secret of Internet Marketing. It's called WORK. Because even BH methods take work.

If I may slightly go off track - I was intrigued by this one remark (quoted above) that you made - largely because the thing that drives me nuts with Wordflood is the thesaurus. The program is great. The thesaurus was put together by a 3 year old. You said you extended the thesaurus. May I ask how? [Feel free to PM me if this interrupts this thread].

Jeff, I've tested out 2 article submission software article post robot being one of them.
However submitting to 150 directories takes HOURS!

So I need to somehow cut down the list refine the list so I only submit to say like 30-50 directories with top PR and top traffic/rankings.

Seems like all in all one of the key facts to succeeding with optimized pages on your blog is PLUGINS that submit to top social bookmarking sites automaticly everytime you post something new.
Which plugin is best for automating the socialbookmarking part of your WP blog?
Also any what other plugins do you suggest???
If you could choose one of the two which one would you go with:
1)Social bookmarking plugin that does all the work once setup.
2)Bookmark Demon

I suck when it comes to reqriting my own articles, but I can say I'm pretty good writing unique articles from zero.

How about directory submissions website-directories, any good software for this process?

I did lots of searching here in the forums and on some WAREZ sites for "Authority Blackbook" but couldnt find the ebook, know where I can get it? (FREE) LOL

Great post Jeff. It's exactly along the lines of what I've been thinking. That is, stop chasing the latest Get Rich Quick methods and start focusing on building a long term business, hopefully one that I enjoy or one that can be delegated.

Exactly...Long term success is what we are all after right? Let me put it this way would you rather have your years of earnings rely solely on gaming the big G or would you rather keep that income 90% predictable by using tried and true methods that have been around forever.

If there is one thing that I have gained from everyone and everything here it is that outsourcing, and to some degrees automation rule all. We are in relaity only one individual being torn 10 different ways. Like I said before, I swallowed my pride and realized... that I cannot write 10 articles, rewrite them 4 times each, design the site, program the script, create ebooks, and the list goes on and on.

The value of ones time can often be overlooked when persuing these Internet Marketing dreams. The 200-300 hours I allocated to trying to do this all on my own only resulted in a grumpier, and less wealthy me. Am I saying that none of this work paid off? No...I am saying that if I had done a little less on my own, and let others program, write, and post certain things for me, my projects would have become profitable far earlier than they did.

I might as well say that the selection of freelancers is not an easy task. There are duds and there are champs. Finding the right one comes down to a real legit interview process...heres an example... when I hired a rewriter, I had them all rewrite one of my articles for me. I told them all to make it unique via Private message. Want to get how many complied out of 15? 13/15 sent me rewrites! I was then able to narrow it down further...eventually I found my Guy/Gal for the job.

The same goes for anything with these freelancers...there are 10000 of them and ummm only one of you...they need you more than you need them (indiviudally speaking) in other words you are in much greater demand. I have gotten some absoultely rediculous deals on freelance work over the last few months, all because I put some actual work into it. Who would of thought that you could save yourself 1000's in the long run by simply asking a group of freelancers a simple question? Or asking them to perform a simple task for you?

Again, I am willing to share just about everything I learned because...lets face it I learned most of it here.

Anyway, I am done for now, I hope this helps someone, somewhere, with something Now stop reading all of this and go make some money!!!!

Boy, that's my story in a nutshell! What a f*cking letdown when you find yet another GET RICH SCHEME, only to fall on your face again. I'm now up to the over $1K a month mark, may not me much to some, but it bought me my new Harley. Now, I just gotta keep doing what I'm doing, then do more.

The funny reality of all of this is that I started SEO and SEM to promote an offline business. When I started I was trying to essentially tired of spending money on traditional ads and went the Search Engine way. Now I sit here, and I find myself doing less and less of that offline work and shifting almost exclusively to this work.

It's funny how one thing can lead to another, in that my offline business essentially created the opportunity to lead into this new and exciting way to earn an income.

How did some of you guys get into this game? I am curious to know because I am sure all of you did not just wake up one day and say "Let me start Internet Marketing". Would anyone care to share?

2 years ago I started with video site. I was reading about webmastering and stuff, then I stated experimenting. Later on I decided that the money are waiting for me to grab them.

That is not my whole story ofcourse... I started my internet journey with hacking (defacing this and that, stealing info...) it was fun until I got info about a planned police operation in my country for people dealing with computer crimes and I decided to quit. This was in 2004 or 2005 I don't remember exactly. I still got my old box full of oldschool exploit and script some written by me .

I use my entire knowledge to exploit SEO and Internet marketing now.

The good thing of the BH is that it will be 1 step infront of the WH

So you come from a programming background? I do too (to a degree) I do some database and web application work for a local college and have done some for clients as well. I feel that having a programming background is both a blessing and a curse when it comes to Internet Marketing. On the positive side you can save tons of money and can often create scripts that are exactly to spec.

On the down side, I feel that in the past it truly consumed the majority of my time because I just could not accept the fact that I would be paying someone for something that I more than likely could have done myself. As a matter of fact I was in the middle of programming an awesome new membership site and I decided to outsource the remaining 50% of it. I just needed to focus on managing my existing sites and decided this would be best.
