Subdomain vs Subfolder SEO Help

Hello Guys
I needed some advice in regards to subdomain vs subfolder vs New domain with my niche keyword. I do web development I am trying to focus on a specific niche, for example, web development for resturants. which route should iItake?
keyword.mydomain.com (subdomain)
mydomain.com/keyword (subfolder)
keywordmydomain.com ( new domain)

Nothing can be compared with "keywordmydomain.com" Go for it and get real targeted traffic with ease!
 
I would go with the subfolder, because apparently subdomains lose some (plenty) of the authority of the domain. No matter what Google says. Anyway, there are more things to keep into account than just lost domain authority (i.e. user experience)

Edit: if you get a new domain, you need to get new links... If the new section of the website is related to the general topic of the whole website, I wouldn't get a new domain... unless it makes sense from another point of view (a different company for that new service, or whatever)
 
From anecdotal evidence, and some personal experience, subdomains are penalized by Google unless they offer a legitimate purpose. Subfolders are the better bet. Of course, as stated above, an entirely specific domain itself is preferred.

Avoid subdomain, always subfolder or main domain if possible.
 
Subfolder or a new domain would be a better option. If you already own a domain in the related area, then having a subfolder might be useful.
