Hey guys..
I just found that stumbleupon gives me more monthly traffic than my Facebook community with 16k organic and very active fans.
Thats more than 4,000 clicks per month.

I also found that if you stop posting GOOD content, stumbleupon starts sending you less traffic.
If your content is with focused sense and very attractive, then your traffic will multiple in the next 15 days.

If you stop adding content to your RSS integrated with StumbleUpon (IFFTTT) then it will stop sending you the standard daily visits.

Hope this helps you all. Maybe you have a very big blog and you can get 100x times what Im doing.

Stumbleupon is a great site to get traffic but i'm a big fan of reddit and search terms are useful to get some classy keywords.
 
Any particular strategies for sharing on StumbleUpon? My content is great and very 'StumbleUpon friendly', but still don't get much traffic.

Is there anything I can buy - stumbles, likes, etc. - to kickstart the traffic?

OP maybe can you post some more details of how you go about doing this to help people out here since they are obviously having problems with StumbleUpon? What you do, what works, how to promote, etc.
 
Hmmmm.....

Persistence is the key to get a lot of traffic from StumbleUpon.
 
Stumbleupon is junk traffic, but when you get in Huge volumes unlike any other network, it stills comes out to be helpful

The main theme should be that stumbleupon users should like your page, more like you get in a row your page will go viral

how do you post to stumbleupon from IFTTT ?

i found only you can get RSS feeds from stumbleupon but not vice versa ?

Yeah, me too. Lots of hits for about 5-10 seconds each. Unless you just want to inflate traffic numbers, it's not terribly useful.
 
Yeah it has a lot of traffic. Things could go viral there but sales? Meh. As ericishere also said... it raises bounce rate

Share to stumble upon, Digg, Reddit, and so on

tweet it, facebook,

and your good!
 
I keep hearing great things about stumbleupon traffic, but have yet to try it out. Got too much on my plate these days. Glad you're finding success with it though.
 
It is ok, can get your adsense banned, clicks to adsense ads from stumbleupon don't even count.
 
I've never had any conversions from StumbleUpon traffic. I do see a temporary rise in traffic just after adding new content but it's usually coming from their bots. It doesn't do much for my sites.
 
You won't make sales with SU traffic.
But there's lots of things you can do with traffic in the long run
2 cents....
