Delving into a new project, we have so many things down and planned, except well.. the name.

Narrowed down to eight names, based sound of the name, readability,.com availability and also something that represents the streetwear approach we are going to take. Also appreciate the fact that a lot of clothing/fashion brands that are popular/successful have weird names and probably if they weren't that popular your brain might see it differently, examples such as: Stussy, aBathingApe, N.E.R.D etc..

It's not that much about the name, it's more about emotions, branding and marketing it the right way

Good luck with your Journey!

Of course, but you still have choose a name at the of the day.

Thank you.

I'll be honest, they all have me scratching my head over how you're going to market with some of these names. But hey not my problem.
Let us know how it is going.

brb registering all domain names.
Was waiting for someone to say that ahah.

Our brand stands for something, its a pack, a family, a group.. saying that if i would of made a thread asking people for ideas i know what types of names would of come up if i were to describe what we stand for, and we hate those names, we disagree that literal names help build a brand (not saying that there isn't alot that exist out there), by that i mean a brand name like Rags2Riches which is targeted at entrepreneurship/motivation (like us) but i think names like that trigger apparel in my head more than building a brand for the time, you are likely to see that and if that triggers something you might buy it, but with a brand name that is open but still with a meaning behind it, it is open to everyone, including the people that stand behind the brand because of the message.

Might be hard to understand that, I had to rush it, but just think about streetwear brands a lot of them are names if you saw on paper you would also scratch your head to find a meaning behind it.

I will 100% return to this thread in the future with updates, Thanks for the comment.

First and last little bump.

Imo DARKVICE sounds good :D
Thanks brother, we like all of them, weirdly we found it very weird that feargood.com was available tbh, but seems a lot like the D A R K V I C E name

Fear good reminds me a lot on Fear of God....

Haha funny when i said i liked it someone else here said the exact same thing, i love FOG aswell

They all suck, go back to the drawing board and try to come up with something that doesn't sound like a depressed teenager with a weed/adderall addiction thought of it

Thanks for the comment, did make me giggle.

Fear of God one of the hottest clothing brands in the last 6 months is targeting that same exact audience of 'depressed teenagers with a weed/adderall addiction'.

Ghost in the Shell, DeadNight, NightAddict just a few more up and coming ones that are also targeting that audience you mentioned and having some success, the last two sentences were sarcastic of course.

Definitely. If you're taking that approach my extended 2c is make it something you can create an abstract visual of in your head that hits home with the depressed teenagers with weed/adderall addictions... e.g...

AVIDVICE - ?
FEAR SIX - ?
PALMSIX - ?
FEAR GOOD - Good Fear
VALID FEAR - Valid Fears
VALID VICE - fine
AVID DREAM - doesn't seem to fit with the rest
DARK SUMMER - Darkest Summer (this is my fav)
DARKVICE - generic (IMO)

Good luck mate, hope you sell many hoodies and such

Search Fear Of God and browse some of there pieces and see if they are targeting depressed teenagers, unless these are fashionable depressed teenagers with a bit of cash to splurge on high designer clothing.

All Terrible Name.

Go with one of these:

THUG LIFE, INMATE 1987, KILLER DOG, WOLF PAC, SMOKEY GREEN, KILLER TRIBE, SAVAGE GREEN, METH DOC, DR. BLAZE.

Isn't that the point. I associate streetware with down and out bong heads and people who steal pints off the side in pubs.

Streetwear & Pubs, first time I've seen those two in a sentence.

What street wear brands you thinking about buddy?
