Strange indexing ranking issue

Hi,

I have a online phone book type site and I'm running into some weird issues.

I have many pages on the site that are indexed in G. If I do a site:www mysite com/city-state/dentists.html
the page shows as indexed.

But if I paste the title of the page or the description of the page into G with quotes it says not found.

Even if I quote some of the unique content on the page into G it says not found.

So basically the only way these pages on my site could be found on G is by typing the exact url.
With this issue there is no way these pages would ever even show up for any keyword..

Whats going on and what can I do to fix this??

When you search for the URL, what is the result that comes up? Is it just showing the title and description tags?

That seems really weird if a page is indexed they have crawled the content therefor you should show up for putting in the unique content from your site.

If the page has just been indexed, give it another week or 2, G is weird sometimes, take awhile for some things to update..
