Yes, you're correct. That's why Google releases algorithm updates periodically.

But if they rely on AI, they can't find out which is right and which is wrong. That's the main issue. In the event that they find and fix the bug in their next version, it may turn out worse. It will take months to train a new AI model, which is practically impossible but may become possible after 5 years or so.
