So I know I already made a thread like this , but I still didn't get the advice/responses I needed.
Basically I did a deal with one of my classmates which induldged in account sharing in 2018. The deal was that if I could get him up 1,000 subscribers on his account to a certain date , he would give me a playstation 50$ giftcard. I also stupidly shared my account which resulted in a long term mistake until I recovered it. Im not too sure on why I shared it , since this was in 2018 but I think it was because atm my parents wouldn't allow me to monetize my channel , so he said he would help me get monetized and send money to my house. I was growing at the time and had 1,000 subs(now I have 3k). The deal was basically I get him 1k subs , he gives me a giftcard and we switch back our accounts.Later did I not know he would betray/scam me and also want to upload videos that I didn't want on my channel and make money off that. So it took me mutiple months to find a way to get his channel to 1,000 subs , but I finally did with sub4sub , but I felt insecure because I just didn't want to share accounts anymore and wanted to get the deal done with. He didn't give the giftcard he promised because he never taught I would get 1k subs , until I did and told me to wait. But I just wanted to get the deal done with because it was taking too long and it seemed like he wanted to make something out of my channel , which I didn't approve of.
So I just changed my info and decided to stop sharing , he tricked me into giving my pass to my account because he said that he needed to get his bank account info off and I could change my account , I was hesistating to know If I could trust him or not , but I should've trust my gut. He changed all my info , recovery info/pass. And I had to contact google support to get it back.
So I have my account , he has his account with 1k subs , and I never got my giftcard(basically scammed).
But my account is luckily recoverd now , the problem is he made an adsense account with my youtube channel and I can't monetize my channel because of that. If I wanted to close the adsense associated with my youtube channel, I would need to get into his email and close his account which is not ethical.
I noticed that my email linked with the channel somehow also had an adsense account , I was able to close that. The main problem is that his email is the main adsense account which is linked with my youtube channel , I would need to close that and need to convince him to verify a pin and go through a mess. But I don't want to contact him because were basically enemies after this situation.
He even threatened me and I had to contact the principle/police.
So what should I do , I want to monetize my channel but can't since he already made one with my youtube channel which is linked to his gmail.
Im thinking maybe since I got him to 1k subs and if he can't acheive 4k watch hours , he can maybe replace my youtube channel with his?
but then I feel like he'll sign both of our channels up.
