Staying on second page for 2 weeks, and not ranking anywhere else

Need advise:confused:

Im ranking 2 websites at the moment,both of them on page 2 between 12-15 position, they were there for almost 2 weeks and not ranking anywhere else...what could that be?
one of the domains is 3 month old and another is 1 month old...any ideas?

Could be a function of the much rumored ranking delay algorithm, but it could also be a function of something else, like poor on page, or some type of algorithmic penalty.
 
Analytics the top 10 competitors with ahrefs. Once you find out strength and weakness of the top 10 competitors, you need to make your site better than the competitors so you can grab the first page of Google.

If your on page seo and articles are good optimized, you dont even need to have keywords as backlinks. Google will know what your page is about from title, url, description and keywords inside the content.
 
I doubt that all these on-page optimisation tips above can help you overcome this difficulty. What you are experiencing is what everyone experiences while promoting new sites. Therefore, what you need is patience and more links gradually built.
 
What SEO Power has told is what you need to do.

In case after waiting for sometime doesn't help. And If your top competitors are having high DA, and PA and also PR. Try to improve that to penetrate the top 3.

If I am in your place I wont push 3.5k Links at the site in question first. Starts with few links as tier 1 and boost the tier 1s with few thousand tier2s and slowly add more tier -1s and tier 2s as needed until you are seeing some saturation in movement.

Then add some more links to gain DA, PR, And PA, for these links I don't mind too much about keywords in anchor but will rely on the above metrics from the linking page.

Check your onpage SEO for overoptimization. If its good, place some quality links, like guest posts or PBNs
 
If the site is new it might have got stuck in the waiting period.

You could try drip feeding new links to your site. Also make sure you have proper anchor variations.
