Hello guys, last time I posted on making money category because I need guidance before I start my Affiliate website, and they suggested that I should post here on Journeys so that I can update you guys everytime and of course to ask for your suggestions. Can you please answer the poll too thanks!

My website niche is about basketball. I will use Amazon Affiliate, Clickbank and Rakuten. I will sell basketball products and online courses that will help players to improve their game. I will also write blogs about basketball and NBA updates. It will be affiliate store and blogs. You can check my site as well but right now it's still in progress (https://realhoopers.com/) We are still working backend and will soon publish it. Our target date is April 30 2020, the site should be working on April 30 2020. I have 20 article on me write now and still writing. My plan is to advertise my site starting on May while people are still on lockdown and they are on their phones, I will use fb ads and banner ads (PPC). I will use SEO also because I am going to use this site to earn for long term. I would like to ask some questions and I hope I can get valuable answers from you, I know you are expert guys hehe. So my question is,
1. How can I advertise my site? Is there any effective ways to advertise it rather that fb ads and google ads and SEO?
2. If I will use FB ads and google ads, how much should I spend? is 50USD enough for starting?



I would like to use your suggestions guys. I will keep updating until I earn my first penny. I hope after 3 months I can see earnings, I will just be consistent i writing and researching my topics.

I must say, I'm impressed by the design. The design looks really good when you first lay your eyes on it.

With that said, I would focus on SEO if I was you.

Breaking even, or even making a profit with Facebook ads targeted towards a cold audience is next to impossible, and I'm not sure you would be able to pull it off with your site.

Keep adding basketball content to your site and build it out that way, else you're probably just going to lose money with paid traffic.

Thanks man appreciated. Yeah my friend told me to write a article 2 times a day with high keyword and good for SEO. So when should i do fb ads? My budget for testing is 300USD. I am planning to promote a video advertisement for it. What do you think?

I would say don't do FB ads for a while. You're probably gonna end up losing all that money and not make it back.

Invest it into content for your website instead, just like your friend suggested. That way you don't have to write as much content yourself.

Or, you could just spend the money and see it as a learning experience.

I highly doubt that you'll be able to pull off cold Facebook traffic to an affiliate offer and still make a profit. But I wish you the best

So you mean i should use my 300usd for writers? and for the continually improvement of my site? I think you got a point. Maybe i should use my 300usd so that i could have many articles. But how can i do for amazon? in 6 months without a sale they will disapprove my account. What should i do?

Have you already applied for the Amazon affiliate program?

Yes, I think you should use that $300 for hiring writers instead.

But that's just my opinion. I'm 100% sure that money is gonna go to waste if you spend it on FB ads.

Yes i already did signed up. I need to make 3 sales before 180 days. I will do blackhat on this i will buy earphones and gaming mouse using my friends ip address so that amazon wont notice me and use the amazon account of my friend. I will send my link to his messenger

Yeah i think i should hire writers do you suggest fiverr?

I don't suggest Fiverr for anything.

You should be able to find some good writers on the forum.
