I thought about having affiliates promote my shirts for me in exchange for commission, but i don't know where i could find people to do that? any suggestions?

I dont think this is good idea. Too much work for affiliates to earn practically pennies.

i was thinking of larger commissions though, like 60% i don't expect people to hop on this, but there are people out there who write 1500 word articles for 2 dollars, so i didn't think i was SOL. what do you think?

If the affiliates could have the t-shirts in their hands they might be more willing to jump on this, I know a lot of people who do work like this at festivals in the GA tri-state area. However the fact it is online makes me think most affiliates willing to do this would just decide to start their own teespring business and work for themselves.
