Starting a torrent site

Ok people, another crazy idea from my brain.

-I know that some jurisdictions have problems with torrent sites, should I go with the old fashion torrent file or do magnet links?
-Where to host if using Magnet URL?
-Where to host if using torrent files?
-How much server do I need to start? (A VPS would be enough and then migrate to a big server?)

I'll be reading some legal stuff on the meanwhile, I found other threads but they were outdated.

Interesting info: Most torrent sites I found are hosted in Canada.

Why do you think this will work? There's already torrent sites for most everything.

Piratebay for most everything
Demonoid for a few rare thing
iptorrents for everything + fast
what.cd/wafflez.fm for music
deli.sh for food
cant remember names for blurays/movies/games
gfxnews for 2d/3d art/models
cgpeers for 3d

What will make your torrent site better than the rest?

Found a hungry market, looking desesperately for a solution since one of the torrent sites covering it died. If done right, well no need to tell the outcome.

Nevermind, I found some places and a couple of good deals, I think this project will start earlier. Anyway thanks to all.

Just make sure you don't get caught by the feds or else your going to run into the Warrior
