Start Having Some Respect For People!

People shouldn't have to be afraid of asking questions because they think they'll get flamed.

It's the internet marketing world, and EVERYONE needs help with something, so they shouldn't have to get flamed for it.

You're right, there is nothing wrong with asking questions BUT how about some God Damn due diligence on the part of the poster.

Take 5 freakin minutes and search before posting a question that has already been asked and answered 500 times...

I love helping people. I help as much as I can even though I have a lot to learn myself.

If I have flamed people, and I don't think I have it's because so many people post for ready made methods that make a fast buck. Fuck the long term right? I need a 100 bucks today from a method that won't work tomorrow.

There are so many great members here that post some great stuff. You can learn just about everything you would need to know just by looking at their past posts. There are a lot of members I study, gonzomcribbinz, and Yukinari84 just to name a couple.

People are going to flame, nothing can be done about that. But there are plenty of quality users that want nothing more than to teach you how to be successful, but not by spoon feeding you methods, but by teaching you how to research your own methods for long lasting success.

Pretty much the people of BHW are just summed up in 3 categories:

Category 1:
Inexperienced Marketers, "Newbies", People who have English as a Second Language

Category 2:
People who genuinely like helping others, and ignore threads that are asked by "Stupid Noobs" like some people like to say around this forum

Category 3:
A bunch of illiterate racists who think they are tough because they are posting online, but in person they'll run away and hide behind their mommies.

Category 3, unfortunately, is a great majority of the "reputable" people of BHW, not all, but majority.

You forgot Category 4 which I personally think is overrunning the forum:
Boys...yes B-O-Y-S, who haven't even started shaving yet but seem to have no problem talking smack and act like they're swinging a big dick.

Sorrym but if the question can be found with the search feature here ( which , btw I WISH would support "" , i.e "online casino" to find phrases would be awesome) They need ot be called out. I also spent time lurking here way long ago before posting.

Part of being in the IM world is research. There have been times I have seen moron replies myself to good questions, and sometimes the poster does not speak good English.

I did a couple of videos here, but real life has made it hard to again...Maybe I should start again...Anyways good thread...you noob ;-)

I'm a newbie so I guess I can say this from a newbie's perspective. Note: As a newbie I have learned a lot through reading and trial and error and I don't mind sharing that stuff.

Well, I operate off of the "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink" type of thinking. I can tell you how to do something, but why would I even waste my time helping you if it doesn't seem as if you will take any action.

I learned a long time ago that perspective is everything. At old job, if you just looked busy, no one will bother you. Even if you didn't do a bit of work. If you come into a forum like this and just post "Help me make $$ now!" and a sob sorry, no one will help you or may or may not flame you. But if you make it seem as if you did something before you posted. You will be received a lot better.

Anything, like "I did a search and found XX method, can anyone clarify ..." would work.

Well, I had another point to make, but that was 2-3 hours ago when I first started typing this out. (I get so distracted, so easily!)

Also as an aside rant: Please stop with the "How much money to you make doing IM" and similar threads. OMG that's annoying. Like anyone is going to give you straight answers /rant

Don't disagree with you guys...but there have also been some rather naive posts eg. How you can scam adsense by clicking your own ads!! (Ok, extreme example I accept, but you get my drift?)

I guess the only solution is one of moderation/reporting to stop these threads cluttering up the forum. Perhaps the welcome message to new members could be updated instead...if it hasn't already been done.
Yeah topsytips, as long as the mods can keep up with all those posts. The best thing we can do is use the report button to help point them out. It still wastes a lot of the mods time dealing with those posts though.

You got me thinking about your suggestion of a good welcome message. I don't know it is really a good welcome message or not, but I wrote something up and posted a thread to the suggestions forum. As long as the mods think its ok and leave it up, I'm just going to start refering people to the thread when I find a new help me thread, as well as hit the report button. I'm not as eloquent as I would like but, maybe some of them will learn something from it.

here's the thread if you want to tell me what you think:

Respect someone only by their actions and real motives. If you respect people willy nilly you will get taken advantage of. Especially here.

I used to help as much as I can, but I also see the lazy threads...which are created becasue

He/She is not ready to work to find out for themselves, they want to be spoon fed..They dont even hit the search to find what in BHW already..what do you expect ? Hence the bashing from Senior BHW members..I dont think its wrong at all...

Everyone has to start somewhere but that doesnt mean the ssenoirs has to bend over backwards to help others..

I got flamed by a well known member and even had another well known member chime in to add to the insult (I had no idea what DP was either at the time). Instead of losing my cool, I tried to see their point of view and thought maybe I should contribute more to the forum, so I became a "donor".

So, develop thick skin, become a donor, and use the search feature and you will have no problems as far as I can tell. Give thanks/rep when people deserve it and ignore the stupid posts.

Like Zen19 said, this forum can make you a millionaire if you put in the time and effort.

Oh and BTW OP, I have helped 100's of users start making money on line - thats my duty after all the help I have received. Unlike you, I didnt ask that it be done via PM or by joining my group. My help was given in public for everyone.

Too true. Followed your journal thread like a hawk :)

This thread should be sticky. So newbies will know what should not be asked. Thanks to op for opening this thread.

great thread and I also think it should be stickied.

Maybe as a suggestion, the very second a noobie posts
'What is the best method to earn $xxx.xx a day..' type posts/threads,

they are sent to the rules and/or this thread for a minimum of 3 days. During those 3 days, if they try visiting BHW, they can only see the rules page or this thread, and nothing else. That should get it through their thick skulls, as they will be forced to read it to try and understand why thats the only thing they can read..

i respect everyone except those that ask to be spoon fed or ask questions that i know they didn't use their fucking brain prior to posting.

You are all freaking noobs. :-)

Sometimes it could be great for people to think more than 1 sec before they PM spam for help so they don't have to do ANYTHING but to push a button. And sometimes that is also outsourced.

If you even read this - chances are that you are not a noob since you would have already PM me for the 400th time asking me how I can make this script do this and that.

I have seen a lot of rough talk to noobs too. But not to me. I ask questions that are relevant and sincere and guess what? I received intelligent respectful answers.

its true, 90% of the time when i make a thread nobody will help me, i have spent countless amounts money trying to learn the hardway but it just isnt work and when you ask for help you just get ignored

I will ALWAYS help people like you. But will NEVER help people asking "how do I make money online now - need $500 by tomorrow" kind of questions.

I still like the thread I started for dealing with the 'Help Me' thread starters
Depending on how bad their thread is I'll either just post
IMPORTANT - Before you start another thread or post another reply, read and follow these instructions:
Guide for New Members - Start Here

or if I'm feeling more generous I'll post that and also post a couple links to the sticky threads like
How To Make Money Online - Getting Started
The Easiest and Quickest $100 A Day I Know

and I like to add this one sometimes too
1000's of other existing threads

So far just about everyone that I sent to the Guide for New Members - Start Here has pretty much stopped posting for a bit.

The thread hasn't gotten much attention from anyone else though. LOL

People having this problem obviously ask the wrong questions. Also you already found BHW, so please don't talk about how you have to ''learn the hardway''.

I consider myself a newbie at IM. And I don't expect to be spoon fed which is why I read more than I post. And I don't like flame wars.
