For the makers of scrape box. It would be nice to see a automatic proxy update feature that works in the background of the project.

So for example, if we are doing a blast, or a ping, we should not get any error message that states to get more proxies. It should automatically refresh the proxies and try to search and test new ones during any project post.

I know it works best with paid proxies but still. :)

13 years later .. the feature is still not there :weep:

I really hope the developers make this happen, at at least provide a feature to constantly update proxies from a file from background. Love this feature in GSA tools, where the proxy scraper can be scheduled to run every 60 mins to harvest and test fresh proxies

With that kind of feature, it will consume tons of your bandwith and your RAM for sure.

GSA does that beautifully. I run proxy scraping and testing on 200 threads.. while simultaneously web scraping is running at 300 threads and posting running at 200 threads. RAM consumption is under 2 GB and CPU is at 16-20% on an i5 processor and 8 GB RAM

It's better if you have a separate server for that. Coz scraping public proxies is just so hard now.

the point I was making , in response to your comment, is that you do not need tons of RAM and bandwidth for this sort of feature for scraping proxies.. GSA has this feature and Scrapebox should implement it too. Whether you need a separate server or not, that's totally different and individual need based.
