Yeah, the little one has to hold on to the mom to keep up but they do swim all over the place as well as fly and make all kinds of noise out there. Now that mating season is over for them the noise will be down some.
We see them every spring with their new babies as the moms like to show them off.
We have about 15 or so out there... that is plenty!
They are not that tough; if I let my 11 pound dogs out while they are in the yard they jump in the water so have a go at it.
