I currently have two Spotify playlist one has 33,000 monthly listeners and the other 44,000 monthly listeners
Orders have reached out to me before for free review to put that song on the playlist

But I want to know how to make money of these playlist I don’t know how I go about it because it’s all against Spotify is terms of service to put a placement on songs for payment.

Would anyone have any ideas on how I can monetise this?

My goal is about 1500 a month

Thanks for all your suggestions

I have never done this myself so don't take my reply by heart but thought I'd leave my answer here since nobody else did. I had a friend with a spotify playlist (3000 followers) with french rap/trap/drill. He was reaching out to artists on instagram/twitter and charging them $50 for a spot on the playlist. I am pretty sure he was averaging $400/month.

Also as a person that makes beats and used to sell them to rappers I would advise you to hit up beatmakers (you can find em on beatstars). Since they actively sell beats to artists they basically have a customer base that is already paying good money for the production on their songs and therefore take their careers very seriously. Don't waste your time on random people that will try to get your service for free. What you do then is tell the beatmaker to send an email to his customers and give him a 20-40% commision for every client he brings you.

That is basically all I know about this money making method. Just thought I'd leave my 10 cents here.

Go where indie music arists are, but do it at scale because you'll get a lot of rejections or no replies.

1. Use various Google searches to find tags such as "most popular" on Bandzoogle, Bandcamp, or Soundcloud.
2. Look for artists that have a recent album as they are more likely to want to spend $. You can probably implement some advanced Google searches or web scraping to do this.
3. Contact them :)

what kind of music do you have? What would be the average streaming potential for a track? Thanks

You could sign up as a playlister with SubmitHub, Musosoup, Mysphera (as mentioned by someone else).
They all work a bit differently.
Musosoup, you might want to it split out and have good playlist/s (where you pitch to the artist at a higher fee for the add) and then you could create a lower quality playlist that all songs are submitted to (for a limited time like a month). You'll need to reject some songs to keep some integrity with the quality of the main playlist/s. But this means there is always a 'free option' (which MusoSoup like), and it should satisfy Spotify's T&Cs.
Obvioulsy define the playlist genre, so music submissions are a good match.
You can construct pricing models based on how long a song stays in rotation on the good playlist.
As you will probably be aware, artists can see which playlists send them streams in the Spotify Artist analytics, so if your playlist does, they'll keep coming back.

How do I see how many monthly listeners my playlist has? Is there a program?

If you still have this account, you can reant it out my song placement.

You could partner up with playlist services you get paid by just reviewing the song and if you like it you can add to your playlist/s.
