Spotify or SoundCloud?

Hi, BHW members! I'd love to get your opinion on this. Which one would you choose: Spotify or SoundCloud? Why?

Spotify is way better because they have a better discovery algorithm and they have a much larger user base than SoundCloud. Also there are less metrics which makes "social proof" less important on Spotify, people can't see "likes" or "comments" as they can on soundcloud.
 
Spotify, it has a broader audience and are less niche than soundcloud. I use both but rarely go on soundcloud unless there are tracks which arn't on spotify
 
So far Spotify has given me better results, in music and interface, less crashing issues as well
 
Spotify is presently the famous streaming service. It is better than Soundcloud
 
spotify has a powerful AI powered discovery algorithm , and it generates playlists of music u like , actually it learns your music desires
 
Depends what you are doing, Spotify for personal use is fire tho
 
Thanks for all your inputs. It looks like Spotify is the winner here. I should have opened this thread before getting a premium plan with SoundCloud.

By the way, my goal is to upload podcasts. I'm not going to upload music. Is Spotify still the best choice based on my objective?
 
Spotify it's good for mainstream music, but Soundcloud is underground more Elektro,Techno,Trance in my opinion whenever there is a event I check the dj's Soundcloud set always
 
Spotify is more modern and deals with spam better, so Spotify.
