I'm planning on starting this side hustle with multiple phones but i have a few questions.
1. Is it better to make a different Distrokid account for each artist, or pack multiple artists on one account? I don't know if Distrokid would take all artists down at once.
2. I don't have accounts yet, so all of my accounts will be brand new. Red flag? Should i make the accounts today and listen to other artists and in a month or two start listening to my own?
3. All of my phones are of the same model and same Android version! +50 phones. Red flag? I don't know if Spotify monitors that as well. I might be able to spoof some device fingerprint informations though, since all of my phones are rooted.
I'll be using proxies but still not sure which, since residential IPs are expensive when unlimited.
Do many of you farm on spotify successfully using phone farms? Not sure if ban rate is high on phone farms with different IPs and natural interactions. I'm planning on streaming 8 hours a day per device and pack my songs with other songs in playlists.
Answers will be appreciated! :)

Spotify farming as a beginner in 2024 is not worth it. One of my friends had grown through social media, didn’t use bots at all, and kept getting warned for botting engagement and even had his song temporarily taken down.

Don’t bot spotify imho

Setup your own proxy farm aswell if you already have the devices

Do you have some news ?

Spotify bot farming is tough to start now; you need a desktop bot with proxies. Using phones will not be enough; find a bot that you can connect to desktop Spotify with proxies however, even with this, Spotify and your distributor will hold back funds for 3 months. If you make any mistakes during this time, your account's funds will be held. I used to run a farm a few years ago, and even then, it was hard to do; they are constantly adjusting spam limits and changing TOS. The distributors are the most challenging part due to the strict withdrawal process, it took me around 6 months to see any funds come through back in 2021. If you spend the time learning I'm sure you can get something working! Good luck.

Nice testimony !

So in your opinion, is it better to vary your distributors with a few artists in each?

What do you think about residential proxy, vpn... ?

Yes, back in the day, we used a variety of distributors connected to different artist accounts. If I remember correctly, we would upload 5-10 tracks per artist with a different distributor. We used 4G proxies; they were the best proxy solution. :)

It is recommended to create a separate DistroKid account for each artist, which can reduce the risk of account violations and make management clearer.

That’s not how it’s done. We can’t make it known to everyone anyways. Inbox me maybe we can work together

You don't make it known to everyone but you talk in DM..... No need to spread our highly kept secret methods...

So do you think is not the best business to start with right now?

Yeah I think it's more trouble than it's worth right now

I don’t understand your point here. First you condemn me not making it known to everyone and talking on dm, next you telling me not to spread an highly kept secret. Did you read what you wrote before posting at all? Anyways, the only reason I ask anyone interested to come to my dm is because I am trying to build a team. I need team work and I have all resources available and everyone gets royalty shares. Things are different now and what you think you know is old and widespread bro. Goodluck
