[Split Test] Journey with Micro Niche Adsense Websites

Yo BHW Community!

I've been just a lurker here and there, trying out different methods and tactics and what not. From looking at sales threads here, I've wanted to try out something.

There are a few people selling "Keywords" and few people selling "Websites"

Keywords are generally cheaper, but you will have to make your own website, logo, etc..

Websites are a bit more expensive, but website will be built for you with some filler content with a tiny bit of SEO.

My "Split" Test here is to test out two sellers. (not affiliated)

I will buy a keyword from Andres1986 for $8 and a $5 upgrade. This is the guaranteed 2000+ USA searches upgrade. I will call this keyword, "A".

I will buy a website from King Maker for $25 (normally $35, but discount). This is the most basic package and includes:
- Theme
- Logo
- 2x500 Word Articles
- 1500 Searches Keyword and $1+ CPC
This keyword will be called "B".

I will be building both off of them off the ground and see which one performs better and which one is more cost efficient. I hope that this test will allow me and some other people to see which way is more profitable in the long run.

I will be making sure that both sides get equal content and similar effort in building backlinks, social profiles, etc...

My goal is to build both of them into authority websites in their respective niche and making profit of course.

UPDATE 1:

I have purchased both the $13 package and the $25 package. I will update thread once I get both of them delivered and have equal content on both of them (2x500 word articles each) and make them look the way I want them (customization).

I will make sure that they both have similar customization (not theme) so if one website has a logo, I will add a logo to the other.

Hopefully, the sellers are fast and I get some pretty badass keywords.

I've heard from MULTIPLE sides that EMD is better and EMD doesn't help. If I had more cash to spare, I would go with Keywords "A" & "B" with EMD domains and Keywords "C" & "D" (not announced yet) with expired domains with a keyword in them.

Once I start building some capital from my other sources to fund this tiny project, I will invest into two more packages for Keywords "C" & "D" to test TWO at the same time.

1. Keyword or Website?
See which one saves more money in the long run
2. EMD or Expired Domain?
See if an aged domain will provide better rankings then an EMD.

Should be receiving the keyword from Andres in 24-48hrs and the Website from King Maker in 72-120hrs.

You can try Google Adwords for better keyword research which would be one easy job for you when you are using mns.

Interesting journey. Not sure how significant the results could possibly be. The services are almost idenitcally so it boils down to who does the better keyword research. still will be interesting

I agree that it boils down to who does the better keyword research.
But, I want to see if I will benefit more from an already made site, or a site I make on my own with a provided keyword. That is the test I am doing.

I would rather purchase keywords from people who have been doing it for a long time. I have failed multiple times with keywords that I have found on my own so it will be more profitable for me to outsource the keywords.

Alright, so King Maker appeared to be a Doo*hbag and decided to just waste my time. I patiently waited 9+ days for a good keyword to come out of him but it never happened.

He eventually gave up giving me bad keywords and asked me to file a dispute so that I can get my money back after 9+ days of waiting. If you are going for an already made website, I wouldn't suggest King Maker as his support is slow and customer service is terrible..

To replace King Maker, I have decided to go with Keyword Spot! I have kept my eyes on them for days now while waiting for King Maker and since he proved that he can't do his job, I went ahead and purchased a website from them.

It was $12 for a website that was very similar to King Maker's $25 package so it was a good deal.

So I ordered from them and I had a problem with a keyword that they gave me in around 24hrs. I added one of their support guys and received a response from them within 5 minutes. They gladly promised to replace my keyword with less competition so they are doing really well compared to King Maker now.

I have received the keyword from Andres and it was decent so I gladly accepted it and bought a domain. It wasn't an EMD but an Expired Partial match domain.

Added 5 articles of 500+~ content and submitted all of them to Google Search Console.

I setup an expired Tumblr blog I had from way back and linked to the site with a short post and image.

Rank for site "A" is currently 87 for the main keyword. Not bad, considering I only did one backlink which was from Tumblr and some on page SEO.

I actually do not have an Adsense account yet. Planning to make and apply for one as soon as I have both sites both functioning with 10+ posts each and a trickle of traffic.
