I would just advise newbies not to spend money on nay seo courses from anyone whatsoever as that is not really how you can learn things. Most of the stuff is already available for free, spend time and research.

Quite Frankly all of the info that ive seen him teach will be completely outdated very very soon. Anyone that is not teaching about social signals right now has it all wrong because THAT is the direction Google is going. Its already been proven that the #1 ranking factor from 2013 and on is Google +1's and if you think about it...it makes perfect sense.

A quick search on SearchMetrics tells you that +1s rate at 0.40 while backlinks are a .34 and then you still have Twitter, Facebook and Pinterest that when all combined blow link strategies out of the water.

Google wants their social network to be the top site for social activity so why would they NOT use social signals as their primary ranking factor, it forces all SEOs to implement Google Plus into their strategy thus promoting it to the rest of the world for them.

People forget that Google is a business and their product is good search results...take this into consideration when creating your strategies and you can never go wrong.

As far as i've seen so far Becker doesn't teach anything about social...i could be wrong though since i don't follow him very close...he has never shown me anything i didn't already know.
 
Alex gives away a lot of really good information on his blog and if you build a PBN like he suggests you can really rank well. I did try his source autopilot program but it did not have any positive effects for ranking my blog. I tried the service for 3 months and then cancelled after I saw no results. I say soak up the free information he provides but save your money on his products.

Correlation does not imply causation regarding Social signals - your statement is 99% wrong, social signals don't really affect your rankings, I have tested that many times.

Also, you (and me) are Google's product - not their search engine.

First off were not a product were the customer. Search Results are their product no matter what you think. Also Google + is their product and if then can drive tons of traffic to Google+ by requiring marketers to implement it on their websites in order to rank...well that just makes perfect business sense.

I was referring to where they are "headed".. There is a huge shift going on right now moving away from linking towards social.

The proof is all there on SearchMetrics.

Will linking completely die? Probably not, but its NOT going to be a big of a factor as social signals will be in the future.

The reason YOUR tests have shown this is probably because none of your competition gets this yet either.

Also, people do the social signal strategy all wrong. You cannot just buy signals unless you have the traffic to justify them.

Check out Mathew Woodwards site if you dont believe me. He explains it all very well and this stuff i HAVE tested and it simply works for me.

Do not be lured in by this guy. I bought that SEO Zen, installed it on my website, but they left out the license key. Waited 2 days for customer service to get back to me, they told me to go to the link to download the product...awesome, now I have 2 copies of a plugin that I can't use because of no license key to either one.
The refund policy says they determine if your problem qualifies as refundable...usually that means no refund...duh!!
Luckily I'm only out $1. However, the actual market price for the product is $127. A lot of people are gonna be pissed from getting burnt.
DO NOT BUY FROM THEM - ALEX BECKER, CASS, SOURCE WAVE, SEO OMEGA....etc.
 
I think he has closed down his biz now anyway. In the short term at least.
SEO Zen wasn't very good at all and in fact I have taken it off the 2 sites of mine that used it, a long time ago.
 
I bought his course on PBN's and its decent with ways to buy domains and how to set them up and his linking strategies. Other then that all his other youtube ranking, and other techniques can be found on forums for free. If you are new to SEO then yes his course will teach a few things but if you're advance then pass up on it (just my 2 cents)

His products suck donkey balls. So do his fellows' products (like Devin Zander etc.). But he rocks when it comes to marketing your own shit. With all the available information out there, he just follows on what's hot and jumps on the wave to develop a short term product which stops being supported after the huge initial push-up and the massive recruitment of affiliates. That's how you bank hard even if you sell snake oil. And that's what marketing is all about after all.
 
Been reading his blog since 2011, pretty useful stuff. His new keyword tracking tool seems really nice and simple...

Becker is a great salesman for sure. He boasts of how easy it is to rank with his methods but it's really just common knowledge at the end of the day. Good dude, not sharing anything ground breaking.
 
so does the method of alex becker really working and is it really worth trying for paid PBN?
 
Anything Becker puts out is trash. Do a lot of research b4 you pay for anything with him. He is one of the best sales guys I have ever seen but his products are shit... Tried one of his products with some buddies of mine to see who was telling the truth about him and his services and of course his BS meter is full blown and me and all the guys who tried it got refunds when Becker's people would not give us one. The product was terrible.. Do your own research, this is my own opinion.

Can't really say anything bad about Becker. Honestly I like the guy. Part of being in business is taking risks. If there's a refund policy on the product you're looking for, then go for it.
 
Yes, did try ranking a site with Source Autopilot, but cancelled after a few months due to limited ranking improvements. Wouldn't be surprised if the new service Social Autopilot is delivering better results, but I haven't tried it.
