Hey there fellow Black Hatters! Does anyone know about/has anyone used Alex Beckers SEO programs before? His website is http://souce-wave.com. He has a few different SEO programs, like Source Omega that he offers his website members. This guy does send a lot of emails that always talk about how he isn't giving us any "fluff" and no "sales" or "bs" but that he always give quality content. Some of the stuff is helpful and insightful but I just don't know if I want to invest any money in his programs without hearing from you guys first....So, any thoughts here guys and gals??

I took a look at Omega. He offers good info but alot is repeated in other stuff he puts out. When you cut all the fat, its a few good tactics inside a bunch of other stuff.

I skimmed through his Omega SEO course. Pretty good for newbies.

Hmm.. I can't seem to open his website. I'll try at a later time.

My bad, I left out the "r" in source-wave. Yeah, nothing really special in the course...I have good keyword research methods but I was hoping to see if his Source Autopilot was of any value?? anyone used it yet?

his blog has some valuable info
but not his course.

he probably has about 4 courses available at the moment and believe me when i say
they are all the same rehash.
he selling the same courses under 4 different name

check his latest course on the download section.

He claimed that he will only send quality informative email to his list and won't hard sell you anything... while the fact is I always get promotional email from time to time. In such email he also claimed that he will give you his valuable product if you buy through his aff link and reply back with the receipt. I've bought 3,4 products and sent few emails and I never receive it, nor even a reply like "sorry the quota is fulled"...

Anyway I must admit that his blog did provide some useful advice sometime.

I like some of his tricks, I think a lot of what he sells can easily be deduced from his blog anyway.

What about his "Source Autopilot" has anyone tried ranking a site with this service? I wouldn't buy his course at all anyways...Most of what he says can be learned right here on BHW

Well there are a ton of happy customers and thousands of people waiting on his every word so there has to be a reason he has all that attention lol.

I think i'm gonna go ahead and get on the next release. I have about 25 niche websites that I would like to test with. Some are ranked and others are not. I have expanded all of these sites to target high volume keywords and that is what I will test with. the keywords are not exact match of the domain but have parts of the domain with part of the keywords....we shall see if he can rank them! I will start a thread on this soon.

I've looked through his free stuff before. He has some good material if you're a complete newbie but it all can be found here and elsewhere for free.

He claims to make millions from SEO so I looked up some of his websites to see if I could learn anything. I found about 40 of his websites (he leaves HUGE footprints - pretty amateur for a SEO "expert") and I didn't see anything impressive. Just a bunch of thin, low quality websites, most aren't ranking for anything. He certainly doesn't make "millions" from SEO. Most of his income comes from getting newbies to hand him money for his courses.

He's very charismatic and he's good at ranking for looney toon keywords with zero competition to impress newbies but that's about it. I would advise you not to waste your money on him or any other make money online "guru".

Well, I'm not a newbie but certainly not an expert either...I am looking for a quality SEO to work with on my sites (I have 20+). Some of the sites are ranking while others are top 50 and I just can't break through...any suggestions on who to use?? Most are medium difficulty in terms of ranking

Yeah, I found it and had a look...mostly just the same stuff he always talks about and nothing revolutionary. Thanks though!

I've used his autopilot before and I would say, save your money. The information on his free blog is really good, but his service does not practice anything he preaches. I tried it for a few months and was really disappointed. When I confronted about the quality of the links, I would be told that my on-site was the problem, or my previous backlnking (which was 10x cleaner)

The high PR links he offers has about 80 OBL. There is a total of 2 articles on each site (unrelated to your niche), then underneath each article will be 40 links to 40 clients. And he just lists each link one after the other. Very unnatural..

The Senuke link he builds is really bad too. The articles will be discussing a certain topic and then out of http://www.yoursite.com/ nowhere your url appears like this.

Becker is a good guy and he gives out great free info. I would definitely recommend watching and reading all his blog posts, but I just can't stand by and watch people throw money away at his service when you can get better links right here in the BST for a much cheaper price. Just choose any homepage PR service in the BST and you got yourself a better deal.

overrated.

claims to make $3.5mil a year but contradicts that when he says on his blog that he just hit $100k a month which is $1.2mill a year.

Is good at impressing the noobs but his strategy of buying high PR domains and linking them to said sites is nothing new. How so many people think he is a seo guru I don't know.

P.S forgot to add, he WILL spam you with irrelevant emails promoting WSO's and JVzoo products. Just got one recently about how he and Alex cass rank high by using the latest "keyword seo plugin" which claims to build a SILO structured site instantly which is total BS as all it does is interlinks posts and pages. Any real seo knows that building a silo structured site starts with keyword research, interlinking from post to post and page to page is NOT a silo site, on the contrary, you'll bleed link flow. so I UNSUB from his list.

I've seen some of his videos and think it's nicely laid out for newbies, but nothing terribly innovative or original.
