Wow! That is some of the realest things I have read in a long time. I always look to his posts because he had that scrappy hustler mentality that typically overcomes everything and guarantees success and I'm sure he will over come this as well.
In my mind, if there is a chance that he can walk he will. He was that "There is always a way" dude.
If this doesn't kick people in the ass to take action and cherish their life and love ones, I don' think anything will.
You are definitely in my prayers, and i'm going to let my wife read this so you can be in hers to.

NFL was good friend to me, and such an awesome person, would love to see him back. 1 thing for sure , i think you both should watch movie - The Secret.
There was 1 guy similar to NFL and had same problem, but he recovered and got back on his feet, and i know he can do the same
The secret helped me in a lot of ways and i know it can help him as well
