Yo guys,
So someone hit me up on my FB music page saying that he could help the page go viral. I think his name was Simon. He was basically saying that he and his group were behind a bunch of music pages that went viral on FB, most notably LATruth, which is a very popular page on Facebook. He sent me a screen shot of LA Truth's analytics from his account, which kind of made me think he was legit. So i sat on it.
But i had some red flags. 1. I reached out to LATruth and another guy that he said he was behind, i can't remember his name but he does the beatboxing videos. LATruth never responded, the beatboxing guy actually did and he said he never heard of this dude and didn't use a marketing team to spread his videos. 2. The dude was messaging me off a entirely new FB account (it seemed), because he had no posts and no friends to show. 3. I asked him what he needed, he said Editor access to my account, then i asked what the methods were and he basically said he didn't want to tell me. So, based on all evidence, i said..fuck that.
Anyways, i figured he was probably going to try to steal my account because it's FB Verified, but as far as i know you can't do that with just editior access..you need Admin access. So what do you think he was trying to use it for?
