Someone Copied My Website

I was in similar situation with a DMCA case some time ago. My content is text based. Google told me similar thing when I filed the complaint:

It is unclear to us whether or not you are the authorized copyright agent for the content in question. Only the copyright owner or an authorized representative can file a DMCAInfringement Notice on his/her behalf. Please note that you could be liable for damages (including costs and attorneys' fees) if you materially misrepresent that your rights have been infringed.

If you or your client is not the copyright owner for this content, we cannot process your notice. Please have the copyright owner file a DMCAnotice with us. If you or your client is the copyright owner, please provide more detail explaining how this is the case.

I replied them with this:

Could you please let me know how can I prove myself as the owner of the content in question? This is an article that is first published and indexed on my website here https://my-url.com The website mentioned copied my entire article and post them on their website. Thank you.

I don’t know what they checked after that but they removed that page from the seprs.

In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act, the following URLs will be removed from Google’s search results shortly.

read stories like these countless times
99% don't go anywhere
best practice to obfuscate your code to give the person attempting to steal it a hard time. but if they have a passion for it you won't stop them no matter what
dmca may kick them off google. but do you know their marketing strategy---they might not even rely on google for traffic. after dmca what if he simply moves to a new domain you're unaware of.
most people who rip it are lazy and won't go far regardless, not much to worry about. you will easily outwork them
