Hey guys, so here I am, finally with my first thread.
I have been working on a longterm project for the last 3 months and (ignoring the couple of backlinks I sadly/"accidentally" bought simply to try it out) kept everything whitehat.
However, after lurking for months and reading through what must have been the 1000000s thread on Blackhatworld I have a few questions/concerns I am hoping to get some help on.
1. I read through an older post, who got punished for having too many anchor heavy links, and getting them in a short time period. As my project was new I obviously pushed through SEO and tried to get a backlink "base" setup to simply show google, here I am, I am worthy of some ranking.
But now I am afraid I might have overdone it. Would be great to please get some professional opinion about this:
(Would highly appreciate it, if someone could maybe run my domain through ahref and maybe even give me his mighty opinion <3)
2. The good old Adwords Myth.
If you spend money on Adwords, google will lower your organic ranks to make sure you keep buying.
I had many previous projects all running perfectly with organic traffic, but with my current one, adwords would have a bigger impact. But I learned SEO under the believe that any kind of Adword purchases will ruin organic search traffic in the long run. Is that true? Any thoughts would be appreciated.
3. Is there some kind of magic secret fairy tale tool in webmaster, which would help me get rid of a ton of old, weird indexed sites?
Currently our crawl rate isn't the highest so google takes rather long to go through everything and since I already have several thousand pages, that posts a smaller issue.
One of the issue is that we have a ton of old links, which simply don't exist anymore and I am slightly worried that they will negatively impact my ranking, is there a way to tell google to remove all links in bulk? Or do I just have to wait for google to go through everything?
(Crawl rate will improve, once Google considers me worthy, right?
)
4. Is it good/useful to update your sitemap every hour (has several thousands of links)? Since google takes atleast a day, when going through sitemaps?
PS: If you have any tips or experience with running a long term project against big ballers and what helped you the most, feel free to share your thoughts. ^^
Conclusion:
Me: Will this thread be affected with hava?
Reader: What is hava?
Me: Hava nice day and thank you for reading my thread!
