Solution to manage a U.S.-based Facebook ad account from outside the U.S.

Hi everyone,

Since Facebook limits certain demographic and targeting options to U.S. advertising accounts only, I'm looking for a solution to open and manage a US-based Facebook ad account from Canada.

This is the approach I'm thinking about implementing. Do you think it would work?

1. Open U.S. bank account (available through certain Canadian banks)

2. Open a new PayPal account and link it to the U.S. bank account (using proxy or VPN and U.S. mailing address)

3. Open a Facebook account and fund the advertising using the new PayPal account, which will draw funds from the U.S. bank account

4. For all of the above, use either a proxy or a VPN based in the city where the U.S. bank account is located


I was wondering if there would be a problem with FB requiring U.S. advertisers to provide a SSN.

Also, does a proxy or VPN (such as HMA) work better for managing a U.S.-based FB account from outside the U.S.?


Before thinking of this solution I had been planning to use a VCC to fund the ad account, but in reading some of the threads on this forum it sounds like FB is banning almost all VCC providers.

I dont think vpn like HMA is already abused by the marketers ,suggest use VPS ,clean vps
