I have found the solution.

I have been going crazy trying to figure out why my audience from Instagram was not converting.

See, in my thread here, I very briefly covered the method we are running here -
https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/t...my-store-a-month.1088131/page-2#post-11735177

But to go more in depth, my funnel followed these main metrics as my KPI's that I was optimizing.

1. DM CTR
2. BOUNCE RATE
3. AVERAGE PAGE DURATION
4. LEAD CAPTURE RATE
5. EMAIL OPEN RATE
6. EMAIL CTR
7. CONVERSION.

Everything within my funnel, from DM CTR, Lead capture rate, email open, email ctr and all were way above average!

As a Shopify owner looking for free traffic methods, it is completely ridiculous to focus on conversion.

Yes, I said that... here's why.

The average buyer doesn't buy until their 6th interaction. And I understood that, but for some reason, I wasn't taking this into consideration.

See, if you glance up to my 7 KPI's above, I have Number 1, 4,5,6,7 doing phenomenal, I was stuck on 2 AND 3.

2 and 3 was lacking was due to a few reasons,
- not enough targeted audiences
- Wrong Copy

But, since I had a 66% CLICK THROUGH RATE from my DM copies, ofc I naturally thought that my DM copies weren't the issue.

My issue, or what I though the issue was, my target audience. But the problem isn't the target audience, it is the way I was speaking to my target audience

Here is where the solution comes in.

If we know the average person doesn't purchase until their 6th attempt. Why are my 12 (randomly chosen) DM's being sent out trying to sell the prospect?

The challenge OFC is to try getting the prospect to preform an action in 80 characters or less, here was an example of my DM COPY

Here are the 4 Steps to get YOUR dream Beard as soon as possible

1- The building blocks of your beard grooming routine

2- Don’t trim your Beard

3- Improve your beard health

4- Make it thicker and stylish

If you are missing step 1, 3 & 4 click this

It preformed amazing, but if you read it, the goal of this was to try to sell them. MY GOAL SHOULD BE TO LEAD CAPTURE FOR SHOPIFY!!!!

NO ONE WILL IMPULSIVELY BUY YOUR SH*T, YOU NEED TO NURTURE!!!!!

My nurture campaigns were performing amazing, now it is just up to my copy and try to provide them more value!

My new Plan:

My DM'S are now based off 2 main assets instead of 6.

Asset 1: FACEBOOK GROUP

Asset 2: E-book Landing Page (Made on unbounce, my lead capture pages convert at 20%+)

I will create 6 dm Copies for each asset and test out the copy within each.

The reason for the Facebook group is because I am building a tribe. A group of people who believe in what my brand believes in. They later become my brand ambassador and start selling for us. Building a FB group will allow me to have user-generated content growing my tribe for me, then once a day I post my link .

I will be doing anything and everything to lead capture them.

This means switching my optins from my website to A/B Versions, not just by design anymore, but one leading them to a 15% off discount and the other leading towards getting the e-book.

There you have it. In the simplest form, my new approach to Instagram. And I believe many of you should be implementing this as well.

With that being said, I wish you all the best of luck, keep me posted and let me know if re-purposing your content towards value and lead capturing was worth it

This is interesting. Have you tried pushing them to content pages? I'm thinking tutorials, How-to guides, informative articles on how to use your product etc

Personally I think signing up for an ebook is effort so I wouldn't likely do it, but if you send me somewhere I can read instantly and I can now connect your brand with your product then I'm more likely to visit again to purchase. I'd run both and see which seems to work best for you.

I have been leading them to value filled blogs with an exit intent optin, however weak conversions. If you have any other recommendations for powerful value that I can lead capture with it will be blessed
