I have added 100 social networking /media site icons to the bottom right of http://realpeterbruce.com

I plan to spend time creating an account on each of these sites and then link the icons to my accounts.

I'm also thinking about using most of the 100 links as buffer sites. Adding them to scrapebox as my websites and blasting them daily.

Before I start this process I'd like to know if I'm doing the right thing, can this harm my rankings?

Woah its good. I think Doing both these things will give a Really good Boost to Your Search Engine Rank.

Yikes! Both your website & your method seems all over the place. Social network links always have the potential to give your site a boost but maybe you should scale down a bit, focus on getting good at a few at a time. Also, your site seems really unfocused, like you're targeting too broad an audience & too many niches. I'd slim down and focus on one thing & one niche at a time.
