So I'm building a site... Can I get some feedback?

EDIT: I'm launching a new site on Weebly under the name KnowledgeWeapons and I'm very excited about it. Anyone who has feedback for me as I construct my site, it would be greatly appreciated. I hope to build a formidable resource for self-development, referring my users to worthwhile programs like the 67 Steps and books like the 48 Laws of Power, generating organic traffic.

fostdecile - Yes. It's kind of in a day one zone. I just wrote a new post, but I feel like I'm loading my site down with links and short articles as opposed to having real organic content about a niche. It's almost like I can give myself advice and don't know how to follow it.

I'll focus on producing more content. Thank you for your feedback.

Buy a real domain like http://happyredcats.com/ and try to make your posts more engaging and detailed. I read your post "The best thing you can do for yourself" and it's quite short and looks bad.

One of the few reasons why your site looks bad:
1. Your domain is a .tk
2. Blogger is not the very prettiest, I'd recommend Wordpress
3. No color, boring and nothing unique
4. Very few small worded posts, no pictures, videos, engaging content

One more thing, look http://prntscr.com/ahis66. When you hover over that text, you see that link. Does it look good? No. You could change it from being kfsdjfkjdkfjsdkfd24872874.hop.clickbank.net to happyredcats.com/becoming-a-millionaire-with-tai-lopez/ or happyredcats.com/67steps/ for short. That'd look more attentive and high quality.

You could also create a custom logo for your site. There's a lot that you could do actually. But that's all I can think of for now. I hope I helped you out with some ideas and constructive feedback.

This is such an interesting process! I began advertising my site by posting on videos tagged "making money india" and "indian entrepreneurs" and got my first click from India. I'm better at making money offline but this is fun.

Hey dude, no problem! I could probably vouch and guarantee that almost everybody uses Wordpress. If it got banned, you were most likely using them for free , which would look like "yourdomain.wordpress.com". Your website cannot get banned if you own it, unless you are de-indexed by Google.

If I wanted to make a link say "/67steps", I'd do it via FTP most of the time. Or if you are using Wordpress, you could add a new page that says 67steps and place a redirect code to whatever. It's not that hard if you put your mind to it.

Yes... I was using them for free in combination with a tk domain. I'm very hesitant to invest any cash into this venture as I believed I could do it with no up-front investment. I was looking into 000webhost, fell in love with tk domains, etc. Penny pinching myself into failure.

Yea dude, I know how that's like. I did the same thing when I first started out. I used the free Weebly website builder and made close to 1K. You're right that you could do it with no up-front investment. You just have to make it look good though. Even domain.wordpress.com looks better than domain.tk. I don't think anybody knows about .tk so it looks spammy and the opposite of a trusted domain. You got everything else down when you have that down.

You made 1k online with no initial investment? Wow dude. I'm interested in targeting up and coming entrepreneurs. I've been making a few bucks online but it's nothing above paying for the lunch I ate making it. I was looking at my old wordpress, thundergun9001 and I think I'm gonna run with it. Gonna change the description though.

Nah, I made way more than 1K without investing. Maybe close to 5K, what I said was around 1K just with Weebly. And by the way dude, don't be that guy who thinks too low or thinks to average. If you really want to see big numbers, you have to make your stuff look awesome and unique. Awesome site and lazer targeted traffic is what's going to make you bank.

Hmm... Well, to be completely honest, I'm checking out Weebly and it looks pretty sleek to me. I'm inexperienced with web design and I'm pretty comfortable with it. I'd like to see my first $1,000 from a website, y'know? I honestly AM thinking small and THAT'S hurting me, too. I'd like to shutdown or give away my offline activity later on and just make PASSIVE INCOME to pay my bills.

This is probably the most exciting thing I've done all year. I have a morning checklist.. "Start a new venture" is on that checklist.

edit: Getting away from the mix-match-niche garbage and stub articles. Going to focus on self-development, book review and finding new hobbies, like I actually want to ^_^ knowledgeweapons on weebly. We shall see if it becomes something or not!

Yep, Weebly isn't that great anymore. I could probably do the same thing what I did a year or two ago with Weebly though, but that's manual work. Nobody likes that because it's quite time-consuming. Yea I feel ya dude. Everybody wants that. I or nobody would want to have to worry about money or anything so we don't have to be limited to spend anything. Like if I want something I can just get it cuz I have the money yaknow?
