Hi,
Little background info; I already am trying to run a brand in a 3rd world country (not where I`m from but I live here with my wife)
Our brand do online sales and have stalls in shopping malls from time to time.
Recently I wanted to come up with a new brand, I opened up the IG account and I was posting some nice images that are related to our fashion niche.
Then I bumped up to this thread here
and
I gave it a try with my account that has only 131 followers and 60 posts..
Next day we were around 250
and I decided to run 2 days ad and spent 10 usd per day (it was weekend)
I woke up to 2.5k followers the next day.
Next morning 15.9k followers and the same day it went up to 30k
Next day it went up to 45k
after a week it stuck at 61k
So, now its 61k followers and all they want is free stuff and insta fame!
I will send them few free stuff that is not expensive.
So there are 2 ways that I may follow from now on;
1-was thinking about deactivating the account after a quick cleaning (all the posts and stories if applicable)
Then maybe after few months activate it again with different name. maybe I will make it my own account...then i will be the insta famous (to not to raise suspicion I will first post some random photos to see the people reactions if they can realise it was the brand or not then change it to mine)
2- will go with the brand. but i tried to sell few stuff to see if people would buy...nope. they leave 9k comments under it as how good is it, how nice the material or the design blablabla...you know ass licking.. but maybe....after I choose few names and end the whole thing, people may go back to normal and having a brand ig page with 60k followers is a good start to be more visible in our niche and hashtags...
