I am confused on how SMS verification services work. I am looking to create bulk accounts on nextdoor.com, and i need phone numbers to verify the accounts. On all these different SMS verification services it has the specific service they need the code for, like facebook, whatsapp.

How do i get a SMS verification service where I can just put in the rented/bought phone number into next door, and then i receive the code through the app/site.

Maybe i'm dumb and thats what these services do, but then im confused why they put instagram, facebook, whatsapp next to them with different prices. If anyone knows the best place for cheap SMS for what im looking for, please share.

Each service has a different price based on Demand.
If they don't have the service listed, you can either contact them directly and try to get a deal or try your luck with the "Any Other" service they have listed (which allows you to receive any SMS from services that are not listed on their website)

Here in BHW family you can find many of sellers Virtual number for sms verifictions, also they guide you how to to use phone numbers for use. Also they provide many countries phone numbers.

Don't use sms-man.com I got scammed none of their numbers work you have to keep trying numbers contacted customer service they told me have to try at least 5 numbers per working country to find one that works. (tried 14 and nothing wasn't gonna stay all night trying numbers) or wait 24 hours for them to replenish the numbers service is garbage waiting for my refund !!!!!!
 
Twilio provides virtual (VoIP) numbers, and not all sites will let you verify with it

No. This is because some platforms are in higher demand than others. It's just as simple.

just got scammed by sms-man.com , they provide not working long term numbers. then when number is not working at all they find all kind of excuses, as customer needed to check the number in 20 minutes to get the refund. people are not buying long term numbers to check anything in 20 minutes but for long term use. also seems they have no technical ability to manually check the sms, but it more looks like a scam. 15.97 usd wasted
