Slowly losing my mind...

1. Change your diet, to a plant-based, alkaline, as much raw as possible.

Why? Recent research shows that highly processed foods that contain fats and sugars can alter our brain functioning on top of other disastrous health consequences they make us depressed and sad about life. When you change your diet, your mood changes, you start to believe and yourself and show initiative in life.

2. Be sure to exercise and be in nature for at least 1-2 hours a day. Running in the woods, hiking, etc.

Why? Aerobic exercise helps us to burn toxins and the fewer toxins we have the better we feel. You can also add some strength training 2-3 times a week, this will help you feel better about yourself. Being in nature is very important, city life sucks the energy out of us and being in nature replenishes it. Be in nature as much as you can. That is why it's way better to run in park or woods than in the gym, we need to be outside to be healthy. Get as much sun as you can.

3. Meditate/pray daily.

Why? Meditation/prayer helps us to connect to the source of creation that tries to connect with you and raises our vibrations. Material life is only a part of our existence, depression is often a sign that spirituality was ignored in life and lack of connection to the source of creation makes our life miserable. If you don't believe in spiritual explanations, believe in research, there is tons of research saying how meditation helps and how it literally builds our willpower and parts of the brain that help us to maintain wellbeing. Google it, everybody endorses meditation nowadays.

Try this for a month and you will be a new man, at the beginning you will need to suffer through a detox when you switch to plant-based diet, but it will be well worth it.

Good luck!

If something like that is really interfering with your life, you should seek professional help. I know it's easier to talk about it anonymously in some online forum, but you should talk about it with your closest people and ask them for support while you find a professional counselor.

OP you wont get a better answer than this one. Adding to this, I'd suggest you to live in the nature. 'Cause it's a little useless being in the nature 1-2hours a day and 22-23 in a city.

An adult human needs 30 trees 10square meters big to breath normally as Stanford/Harvard(can't remember exactly but a quick G search will do) shown recently.

Meditating it's not praying. Meditate. Do not pray. They have similar effects, but weaker.

Best advice so far. Meditation/prayer really works.

You should try this OP, and you will definitely see positive changes.

And honestly when people start to feel sad sometimes its because of a lack of daily social interaction. Humans are social creatures and we SEO people do tend to spend all day on a computer for work. I'd recommend trying to get out in public a bit and chatting some people up. A coffee shop is a great place for this. Drop by a local Starbucks and when you order your coffee just shoot the shit with the barista, as them about the different blends... just chat for a bit. Most of them like chatting and the caffeine and the talk make me feel better some days. Hope you feel better OP!

lol dude, i'm dysthymic you don't know what depression is lol. If you got social anxiety the only way to fix it is by facing it, aproach a couple of people everyday and try to start a conversation, at first it'll be hard, but eventually will get easier and you anxiety levels will be reduced severily, keep it up

What is not happening to you buddy? I highly suspect that you have been working for some time now and you feel so drained. Well, that is always the feeling when you go beyond what your body and mind can handle. The best advice for you is to be able to ask for some days off so that you can just rest and have some QT moments. It will be a good time for regeneration and planning on the future things that do await you. Hoping for the best.

Go out more, make some friends. Change your lifestyle, make positive changes in your life. I'm in the same boat as you. Goodluck and I hope things will get better for you!

I know, money won't change and don't really care about it. I have social anxiety. If someone would invite me to party, i would definetely reject. even small talk is very hard for me ...
All you need is 12 Stella a day, then everything is fine.

I suffer from Social anxiety as well. I used to be perfectly fine meeting with large groups in a meeting, now I grudge at the idea. Even if Im not the one leading the meeting I still get anxiety thinking about it. I was not like this at all it started last year. I am getting upset because its starting to cause me to not be sharp at meetings or have confidence. I really dont know what happened : ( I might need to see a doctor

Of course it is easier said than done, that's why you have to push it, if you are into IM i'm sure you are an smart guy, so don't let your emotions control the outcome of your life ;) cheer up!

try going out more. If you are not so into socializing, try going on a hike and bring your dog with you. Just be sure to keep on the trail! :)
