Sites Gone? Google Update? WTF

Came on here to try and learn some more, saw people saying they had sites back, thought to myself, fuck man, never happening for you, checked my shit, and sure enough, bigdaddys back,

still shook and scared, never gonna stop b-hattin tho, so fuck, whatever, have to see how this shit plays out,

If I got my shit back then everybody will probably get their shit back cause I was heavy hittin,

hope my competitors liked the taste a that money they was makin while I was gone, too bad I came back huh?

My site is back after 3 days. On better position than before.

BTW I didn't nothing, no single backlinks, no new content

it sounds like all of you experienced the google dance and created this thread out of thrill...i could be wrong, but sites come and go everyday and this is the best explanation for this, unless google comes out with a press release in the next day or two with another update...
 
At least I jumped 50 spots up again for the main keyword. I really hope there is more to go!
What did I made:
Massive amount of plain url social bookmarks, High PR Blogposts with plain URL and paid traffic (not Adsense, the kind of traffic you can buy here).

Yeah, it looks like the dance but almost for every page of BHW members :) maybe G trying some new update or new changes. But this was horrible dance for sure, because lot of good sites disappear and more crappy sites showed up.
Google should improve the search algorythm to offer good results to users.

like i said i could be wrong, but with so many sites recovering so fast, it most likely sounds like the dance...
 
Dance? Google just screwed up, if I am to call it as it is. The sites they were ranking were worse.

My site is back to where it was. I'm not sure if it had to do with me Resubmitting my Site Map to webmaster tool, or just google needing some time to fix the rankings.

That's a good idea about resubmitting the site map. If my rankings are still gone tomorrow, I think I'll try that. :)
 
Hmm.. my site is seen but not for some of my other keywords. I'm back in the same position for 1 keyword, but my other I can't find my site on google yet. Well, guess this is a waiting game.

And away again... Other keywords are not moving.
 
A few of my sites got hit also yesterday but now I see they are back on their positions.
 
I think that google just restored their databases from backup after noticing that the change was a disaster do search quality. We can be happy for now, but they could tweak some things and do it again.

Yes, things definitely moving in the right direction. A number of my newer projects (domains 1-3 months old) are back to 1st page rankings and I have also seen an increase in longtail search queries.....not all sites back to normal yet though so I think we need to give this another 2-3 days to settle.
 
Mine back too. For some hours. And then gone again. :D Let's see, let's see.. Still seeing googlebots coming so fuck it. It is what it is. Thank god I'm not relying on these things when it comes to putting food on the table...
