Hi

I am seeing a few pages indexed of one of my sites on Google, which I believe shouldn't be indexed because before today there those pages wouldn't be used to index. So I can't figure out if I should keep it or turn off the toggle in Yoast Search Appearance.

I use the newspaper theme, so there are some Cloud Templates. This URL showing up in my sitemap (tdb_templates-sitemap.xml) because of which everything inside it showing on google and I think it's irrelevant. Here is my sitemap: https://getthattech.com/sitemap_index.xml

Thanks and Regards

don't make your sites and keywords public, mate! Especially if you have Adsense on the site, it's very dumb idea to post your site here for everyone to see...

Now, regarding your issues...

1) don't use Yoast in the first place, that's one of the worst SEO plugins nowadays. Replace it with TSF or RankMath
2) a good SEO plugin should automatically noindex the tag pages... or if it doesn't automatically noindex them then at least it should allow you to tick a checkbox that handle the non-indexation. Good plugins do have this option...
3) I'm not seeing that link inside of your sitemap (maybe you removed it from the sitemap??), but that's good if that link contains the pages that you don't want indexed. So, leave it like this!

Thanks for the domain, some useable backlinks found.

But its hard to believe you bought the domain which had illegal online carton content on it before, good luck anyhow.

PS: never share your domain(s) with anyone.

Why tag should be noindex? I see that GG index tag very fast

i have my tags indexed, but i also have my tags used and not blank.
as people have said before, dont use yoast. i use rankmath and find it much more easier. i think festinger still shares the pro version on here for free(use search). you can use ur robots.txt to ignore certain pages being indexed, but u shouldnt have ur templates existing anyways.
