Site is up. Now what?

Hi All.

I'll preface this all by saying I am a newb.

I recently downloaded a WSO called "The Chuck Norris of Mobile" and set up the site template.

The site is up and running (can't post URLs according to mods here) and working fine.

The business model: Sell mobile websites to businesses for $25/month.

How should I go about marketing this website. The course suggests emailing businesses with a script provided, and I plan on doing so. However, I've never done outgoing email marketing and I know there are some obstacles there.

My goal: I want to send at least 500 emails a day, to US businesses that don't already have a mobile website (should be pretty wide open).

Any advice on how to go about this would be golden! Thanks!!

From my own experience you will have better luck approaching local businesses in person. Unless your communication skills blow of course.

I am not sure what exactly you are looking for as you said you have a script that is needed for this purpose. However, IMO it would be a good option to also give a personal touch to emails that you send so they don't look like spam or people are able to understand how the website would be beneficial for 'them'.

You may want to run two sorts of campaigns. One automated and other like the above, side by side. That will give you a fair idea which one is working better.

I am not averse to doing just this. However, I have no idea how to go about it! Can you offer some guidance there: do you use a bulk mailer? a proxy? VA?

How do you get the emails out in volumes of 5000/week (at the very least)?

This is how you do this:

You find a cute young girl, and you send her out with a nice digital camera. You have her pound the pavement and businesses for you, to pitch your shit.

Once they buy, she can upsell them on the facebooks and twitter accounts and places or yelp listings, blaa bla bla.

Commission only, internship only, etc...

Try to contact local businesses in your area with yellowpages. Set an appointment with them in person.

now submit your site in search engines, google map and places.
