3. Set your bid ridiculously low -> e.g. SEO services in Atlanta and a bid of $0.20 per click
4. Get the ad approved
5. You don't pay anything because your ad is too low on the bidding to even be shown

Social Signals​

1. Join a few Facebook groups, which talk about your subject / Join a few subreddits that talk about your subject
2. Start commenting about the things you know, but don't post any links to it. At least for a few days (2-5 days)
3. Get back to the old posts, and slap a link by editing your comment. Do it at least for 30% of your posts to avoid nerds who report left and right.

For example, I work on software for Minecraft donations, that accepts crypto payments, and did the following:

1. Went on Google and typed "Minecraft forum" + "crypto" or anything related.
2. Created accounts on all these forums, and slapped a few links while commenting

and forums are good too, but like you said, you have to put the link inside threads, which not many forums allow... not for new accounts anyway...
