My competitor has several "/child" pages under
competitor.com/dallas-plumber
Most of them are pretty useless to a visitor of his website, like
- competitor.com/dallas-plumber/my-logo
- test.competitor.com/dallas-plumber
- competitor.com/dallas-plumber/hire-dallas-plumber (8 words on the page and a button 'Check Pricing')
I'm wondering if, all things equal, if fattening the branch URL
with /dallas-plumber/twigs
in the directory helps SEO for the page?
Does Google care at all about the URL directory structure /aaah/aah/aah
OR does Google care just about inner linking?
You want to rank this page: site.com/dallas-plumber
Would adding sub pages / child pages strengthen that URL?
site.com/dallas-plumber/logo
site.com/dallas-plumber/toilets-in-texas
site.com/dallas-plumber/hiring-a-plumber
site.com/dallas-plumber/getting-your-sack-waxed
If a URL has /sub-pages (just like a domain has many /child and /child/baby pages under it), does that tell Google that the parent page is important?
