Doesn’t matter. What matters is a compatible partner. I got married when I was freaking broke. RN, we employ 3 people directly. Don’t worry guys/girls, just get a compatible partner. Don’t marry someone just because (s)he looks good. Marry him/her/them coz you want to live with them.

Happiness brings money.
Imagine Mr.A is poor, but healthy & fit. On 1st December, Mr.A meets with an accident and loses both his arms. On 2nd December, Mr.A wins a lottery of US$500 million. Do you think that money would suddenly make Mr.A happy ?
Money does not bring happiness. But, money can empower us to do things that may bring us some happiness & money enables us to solve many life's problems (not all problems, though).
For starters, happiness doesn't bring you money. And yes, if Mr. A gets $500M a day after he lost his arms, he would be extremely happy. Because instead of living without arms, he can get himself world's best artificial arms and enjoy his rich life.
You can get married if you can take care of your self + your wife and your essential BILLS.
Being able to take care of your essential and basic bills do not mean that you are very successful. [It depends].

Yes, there are always issues. If you hire the top pre-nup attorney and your future spouse hires the worst because she couldn't afford a better one and you could, it could invalidate the agreement (or so I've heard for my state).
If you co-mingle assets, if you have them help you build the business, etc. there could be issues. For most people out there though, a pre-nup is beneficial and lawsuits shouldn't be an issue. Just make sure what the exit clauses are. I'm guessing it could be a problem if she has an infidelity clause and you don't.

Having a trust is better than a pre-nup, I'm shocked at the amount of very wealthy people that do not use trusts in order to protect themselves from a divorce or other issues.
