Should I tell Amazon about every traffic source I'm using?

I gave them my website as a traffic source, but didn't mention any other sources, and now I'm working on social media traffic where I promote products that aren't listed on my website.

will they ban me because I didn't mention that source?

They won't ban you unless you go against their policies. Sharing or promoting products whether they are on your website or not on social media is not against their T&C.

If they catch on they might. Technically you are supposed to disclose you are an affiliate on your social media profile and on each post.

But you can probably skirt the rules and get away with it for low volume. Or just promote a pre lander that has your affiliate disclosure and add affiliate links there.

It's only a matter of time, they will ban you. Put every traffic source in the website list. It's as simple as that.

Note that if Amazon bans your account, it's final.

My account was banned recently for the most ridiculous reason.

I've just started now and made a few bucks. Wish me luck :D

I've seen your post. Why didn't you withdraw your money before they banned you? And what program are you planning to use next?

Your social media traffic directs to your website and from there you are promoting amazon links, right? if so you don't have to mentioned it.

Amazon pays 60 days after you earn, so they have enough time to steal money from affiliates.

I haven't decided...perhaps I'll put the site up for sale and invest the money in a physical business. I'm tired of Google updates and now Amazon fraudulently keeping my money.

Yes, if they ask you in a manual review about your traffic sources then it's recommended to mention them

If you have quality traffic then you can look at amazon alternates like cjaffilate, shareasale etc or look into promoting individual offers in your niche. Any of these will pay much more then amazon.

Mate, when you were banned, what happened to your money on the platform? Did they pay you (how much time), or have you lost it?

Amazon are too big to care about stealing their affiliates

Actually, they are not that strict. The only thing that matters is their T&C.
