Should I sell #1 trending domain name on Ebay?

I have a domain name that will be the #1 trending topic on twitter and google in a few days. Several big companies could have interest in this domain name. Should I list this domain on Ebay for an auction to end on the day before this day or the day of this event?

Any advice or help is much appreciated.

Ebay is not the proper place to sell domains. I would recommend SEDO or even Flippa (in case its a good domain and doesn't have any trademark issues)

the domain is nationalunfriendday.com My reasoning for Ebay is I could get buyers who are not the traditional domain buyers that may use some of the sites you suggested.

I wouldn't expect to get more than a few bucks for it. But hey if you are a salesman anything is possible. That said, have you ever sold anything on ebay before? Have you ever sold on flippa before? Your experience plays a big part where you should try to sell something.
