Should i remove Posted date from my blog posts

Hi,,

I just started blog and want to make post too many articles..

as i am targeting low searches keyword..

Should i remove posted date from blog? i dont know if its good or not. Right now google showing posted date in search result for each post i make.

Let me know your suggestion

Yes, you should remove posted date from your blog. I did an experiment and this is a good strategy

If you are posting a lot in one go then yes, if you are posting one regularly then it's good for visitors to see it's being updated regularly so it encourages them to return, join newsletter etc

Yes. I have inserted php into my WP that instead shows a random "last updated" date from within the past 90 days, to keep everything looking more fresh.

actually i am making authority blog which going to have 400 to 500 post even more as per future performance. so i am thinking to remove posted date as google showing this into search. right now i have 25 article posted.

Second that!
"Updated (date)" is much better and will always give visitor a sense of blog freshness. Not an expert, but even as a blog reader I appreciate if blog posts get updated regularly. What ads trust is also a short paragraph in the top:
"UPDATE: some text here"

Makes me feel that writer actually came back and updated post with recent information & the date above it validates that.

we want to rank each post in result so our main focus will be search engine. for example one keyword we can rank one post or maximum 2 but and we want to stay on top in result.

Well, I don't think the date will get you in the top nor it will decrease your ratings if it is not there. But if your readers feel engaged and feel that they get value from your posts (not necessary do get real value), they might help you stay in the top.

A must especially if your content is evergreen content - then definitely update it.

It depends on what you may be trying to achieve. If you don't really post much, then removing the post dates would definitely be great, as it won't send out the signal to your readers that you haven't updated your posts for a while. But if you are a frequent poster, having a date on the post would definitely be great.

for readers date is good but as i want to rank my each post in google ranking and google will get two know post date why google gonna keep me on top for long term if some one create good content and in future date than my post will be no longer on top.

you can remove it from older post....since the visitor sometimes don't look interested in old information...removing dates in old post will make at least visitor to read the older content as well....new post with date or without date doesn't matter because they are gonna read and comment on those articles...!!!

Yes, you can remove your posted date in order look like a authority blog in front of the visitors, specially when you are targeting the low competition keyword. It is one of the good strategy to go with.

sometime, if I find the time, I will write a post here how to "DEFUCK" wordpres themes.

my advice: dont use blogposts.
2nd dvice: code in plain html.

I use "last updated" date on my blogs (I mostly use Thrive Themes which have an option for this). I update my money posts reasonably regularly.
