Hi guys,

I started to promote few cpa(email submit) campaigns from maxBounty with facebook ads and built for each one a nice landing page(cuz facebook blocks direct linking from maxBounty), set the pixel and created campaigns with objective of conversions on FB.

I also set the charging method to CPC and, the conversion to pageView(custom event), and optimization for link clicks.

The result was that I get a nice CTR (~10%) for these ads but the amount of conversions(on FB) I see is much lower than the amount of link clicks which I pay for. Moreover, I see no clicks on the link on my landing page that leads to the submit form(but this I think has to do with my landing pages).

Anyway, my question is should I change my optimization goal to what is set as a conversion on FB and pay for impression(cuz that's the only option they give me for this kind of optimization) ?
Or should I set my campaign objective to Traffic or something other than conversions ?

Any advice would be really appreciated.
Thx!

You need to work on your landing page and then on your ads ctr. If you are to Fb ads you better go with cpc way and then CPM basis. Test offer at 3 x Payout atleast.

Thanks, but it feels like the ctr is ok.
should I strive for more than 10% ctr on an ad?

it looks like something is wrong with the audience - there is like 50 clicks on the ad but only 15 pageView events - that sounds like people don't wait the page to load - so it feels like FB optimizes the campaign just to people who click on ads without any reason.

Is it possible that I need to change the optimization goal or the campaign objective from the beginning?
