Should I give up?

You need to be realistic. You havent figured out how to monetize in over
5 years and now your plan is to do a variation of what you have been doing that didnt work. Why do you think it will work this time?

As i said before you need to jv with someone who knows how to monetize and learn from them. Else you are just going to keep going around in the same circle.

I purchased in total 40+ high quality articles on some long tail keywords with more than 1k monthly searches each and with less than 30 difficult score based kwfinder.

Spent $60 for theme $500+ for articles and $500+ for link building, mostly guest posts (no PBN and Web 2) and results 20-30 daily visitors, but in the past my traffic was 70+ daily. Sometimes i think the more i work the less traffic i have.

Now don't know what can I do. Sell it or keep working on it?

I think I can't sell it on flippa more than $200-300 and this makes me more disappointed because no matter how much I spent or the quality of the website, but how much site making.

I'm into this project for 9 months buddy and i know how to monetize it, with more hard work its possible to get away from 20-30 daily visitors. I just have to spend more money for link building.. Im buying guest posts only, any idea for other ways to get strong backlinks? Maybe press release is good links, or some pbn with web 2, what do you think? Im always talking for long-term business, i don't want to risk my website.

Yesterday someone sent email about roundup and his website featured into business insider, forbes, inc, bustle, Harvard business school, the observer, nfl,medical daily, jumpcut etc. So link to my homepage would be helpful.

How old is your website? Probably your site is still in google sandbox. Wait at least a year and see if ranking improves or not.

Why give up? You have put this much into it? Keep working and learn as much as you can and eventually you will succeed. It will not be easy at times but in the end it will be well worth it.

9 months old, the niche is competitive so i will wait until the end of this year.

No you dont. Else you would have made more than $2000 in five years and have been running a profitable site for several years.

But this thread is pointless if you have already decided what you are going to do and your plan is to carry on doing what you have been doing with a few minor tweaks, why bother asking peoples advice?

If you do anything for 5 years and get nowhere you have to rethink your entire plan, its not working. Just continuing and expecting a different result is a waste of yet more time. But hey it is your time to waste.
 
Don't pour all your money if you don't know how it works. Learn more and start small. if you have $1000 spend each $50 in different things instead of spending all $1000 in one thing which you don't know. Try to find which one works and only do blogging as a part time work. After you gain some experience build more and make it as your primary income source.

I'm into SEO 1 year and this is my first blog. I'm 5 years into the internet and first 1 year i didn't take action, only read money making methods. Iv been into social media marketing for 2 years and I made $2000+ from crakrevenue promoting dating offers on the facebook, then this method stopped to work. So don't say I'm 5 years into this blog.

The easiest way to monetize blog i think is adsense and affiliate marketing. The problem is traffic, not monetization method.

Where can I spend $50 for example? Blogging isn't cheap, especially if you are into competitive niche. For example strong backlinks and quality content cost money.
 
I was always told "don't invest what you're not willing to lose". I think you over-invested and didn't get anything back. You also stuck too long with a losing strategy. Cut your losses and take a break.
 
OP the reason you haven't made money is your choice of niche.
Personal development blogs require decent articles and I bet that 90% of the articles on your site are probably filler material, as it is difficult to find great writers that specialise in the PD niche.
I also agree with @MartysW0RLD, look at a different source of monetisation, IMO you should be offering them courses and books.
Look at ClickBank (PD Courses) and Amazon Affiliates (PD Books) until you can find something more suitable.

I didnt say your blog is 5 years old. You said you have been in im for 5 years and made almost no money but you know how to.

I said no you dont, else in 5 years you would have.

Your thread is about should you give up. Why ask when you have decided that your going to ignore what people are saying and are going to keep repeating things that dont work.

It is your time and your money, so keep doing what your doing. But unless you change this blog wont make any money either and any advice given in this thread is pointless as you will just ignore it.

Thank you for the helpful answer. I have some questions and I will apreciate if you will answer them.

1. The blog theme is exactly as the addicted2success. com called zox news, do I have to change this theme if I want to promote affiliate courses?

2. What is the best method to promote affiliate courses,by creating category "courses" with one page and promote these courses into this page? Or just write articles and promote courses into these articles with some internal linking? I'm not talking for reviews for crourses but for normal articles, for example "5 ways to skyrocket your productivity" and into this article recommend relevant affiliate course.

I think for this theme the second method is works better, what do you think?
 
Awesome Blog! I would kick the top Adsense To the curve and replace it with something like Kobe Test, Neuro Programming, Hypnosis for Succes, NLP, Brain Vitamins, Elevate, etc. When I took the AdWords course, Google said without saying it ” it will be worth it to send some cheap paid Brand Awareness traffic to your site”.

I was actually like you when I first started IM ..I was a total noob.
I tried so many things and I barely made any actual money..In the end I didn't really make any "good" money..but I didn't quit.

My beliefs changed and I changed. I no longer believed I had to go to get a 9-5 job and retire when I was old.

It led me to believe that I could make more money in a week than a 9-5 job. Before that I thought all there was to do was to get a normal job

I changed what I did. I wrote down all the things I was good at and I started a business around that. I started with zero and gradually built it from the ground up.

I'm doing better now but let me tell you it took a lot of hard work and a lot of dedication. It's an offline business but BHW was the reason I started it in the first place.

Change what you are doing. Keep trying different things and when you find something that works ..outsource and scale..

Sounds easy but it isn't.

Even now I have a lot to learn. There are many people on here who you can learn a lot from if you take your time searching their posts. That's what I did.
BHW is full of useful information if you take the time to read.
