Should I focus on blogging or linkbuilding?

Hey guys, so I came to a dilemma.

I write the content for my blog and have a full time job, so it takes so much of my time. I know quite a few things about linkbuilding and SEO. That's why I realize that it's time consuming also. Therefore, I have to outsource one or another. Otherwise I'll just go crazy, you know what I mean?

Therefore, a question. What should I put my main focus on? I know that outsourcing costs money, and I have some. Which one will bring the highest ROI in your opinion? Also, if you have any suggestions, life hacks, or solutions, I'd love to hear them.

Focus on creating content because it should be authentic to you, and outsource the SEO part so you don't get distracted and caught up in it.

I think link building it's better but if you are skilled with blogging and you like doing it's good to go with this also.

Do what you can do best & if you can, just outsource the parts you are not good at or you do not have the time to deal with.

I would love to do everything myself but overworking yourself by trying to learn it all doesn’t look all that fun.

And there is more stuff I am working on besides just blogging so i’d Just break down lol

I would suggest that you do both. We can always find more time in our busy schedules.

1. Do what you like
2. Pay people to increase the power of your website
3. Do it yourself if you don't have money

Here is what I do: Spend a lot of time creating really great content. Then put content creation on hold as I promote the hell out of that piece of content. Really, get the most out of it.

Otherwise: whats the point of creating content if you're not going to promote it? Nobody will see it.

Depends on the amount of content you already have on your site. If you already have 50,000 words of content and you are in a low to medium competition niche, I would suggest you decrease your publishing frequency. If you were publishing 3 articles per week, decrease it to 1 per week and use the free time to focus on link building/outreach. If posting less doesn't sit well with you, then keep posting as usual and outsource the link building tasks to the right business.

Yes, I agree, coz I suffered taking all the task on my head.

Since you said you're writing the contents, keep focussing on creating more effective contents and share those in social media.

Breakdown the things that you wish to do to improve your sites (like link building), and choose what you can do and you can't do.

Create short-term milestones toward the constructive progress of the site and start working on it. Achieving those milestones that will give you a positive energy , don't dump too much of tasks on your head. You will feel a negativity when you fail to accomplish it. Be positive stay positive.

Content is king, link building is queen, so i think you stay focus on your content.

Hi, As a fellow blogger I would suggest you to focus on blogging. providing good quality content is the essence of blogging. Of course link building is also essential but this could be done all by yourself. Build quality backlinks rather than focusing on quantity. All the best!

If you're a one men army you have to do a bit of both, otherwise, it's not going to work. Or maybe outsource one of two. I personally prefer link building since it's less time consuming
