Should I be worried??? being spammed with backlinks

This niche is too profitable bro and too low competition with literally no production costs(all profit minus IRS taxes,no local because intangible products)..I can't even believe I've managed to be in first place half assing as much as I do...finding another niche is not an option

Xrumer I've never used although I've read about it, my dominance is MOSTLY natural and white hat(kind of...i've hired others to build 2nd and 3rd tier links to my blogs, and bought a little bit of social media presence, but that's it)

Honestly, I probably have the shittiest site in the niche yet I'm dominating google-wise, partly because I've been studying the niche for 2 years and being a marketing major. I can only imagine how furious they must be to see such a half assed site topping theirs. But I'm convinced it's just ONE competitor(the one with the best largest website that's been around the longest) launching the attacks, because the owner is mimicking my social media moves and another top 3 competitor has the exact same backlinks coming in.

Would using the 301 method screw my SERP? I read somewhere it would.
And honestly, I'd love to battle the bitch, but effectively...in a much more sinister way if possible(xxx backlinks for example)...

so sorry about that. really hate spammer..
Hope know better solution than redirect 301 as we know that the new site will be possible to spam too once it's on top.

For real though...I'm but a peasant who just emerged into the field and is getting poor conversions not even making 6 figures, compared to that website(they make a million+ a year 110%) and yet the only way you can oust me is by such cheap ass tactics...i mean for fucks sake

You say you still have rankings, cross your fingers but I think in the next update you will take it in the shorts. We had something similar happen to us last year, we got spammed badly but I didnt notice until the big update in October. Then when I checked I found that all of the backlinks were made in September.

We did some damage control and it was not until around Feb/March that we started to see a recovery.

You mind me asking was the spam severe? Worse than 10-15 backlinks a day?

LMFAO yea i'm getting fucked soon...reallllly bad....I just check ahref.....and as of middle of the month I'm getting about 3k links a day....man oh man...

I wouldnt count to much on opensiteexplorer as i have just tested my sites and 1 shows 1 link but alexa shows it as 9 and google shows as 32, so i would count too much what that says.

As long as you keep concentrating on your site, you will be fine. Do SEO, new content, get visitors and Google will not hit you, but take in count that Googles algorithm changes all the time so even do you do everything right at the moment it dosent mean that it will meet next updates criteria. Keep up to date with googles updates and as soon as they change what they are looking for in a site, change yours to suit.

I had one site rank on page 10 and instead of concentrating to get it to the top, i got it read for the new update when my competitors dint, i now rank 1 for a few of my keywords while they have dropped a lot. Unlucky for them :)

I'll focus on quality content....but the thing is...it's kind of hard to focus on it when I know I'm getting hit with 25k links over a week's span....when my total backlinks from the go before the attack was 6k

Spamming is bad right now in google, google has better and better filters each update. To secure your site from penalty create only tier 1 backlinks and try putting tier 2 onto tier 1.

All I do and have is 3 blogs with 10-15 articles on each and social media...that has gotten me ranked for nearly every keyword I targeted so far....

hey, sorry to hear it's still continuing...when you say you have 3 blogs, are they all on the same domain?

1. Daily update disavow file for each new backlink from that guy

2. Find the one or two top5 competitors not getting spammed (I am assuming it's one of them trying to boot you guys off)

3. Get even!

They point to the same domain yes but not on the same domain

I already know who it is 100%. I've just discovered it was 50k links I got hit with in the past week.over 99% of them are nofollow and what looks to be almost all comments..I was told it's not that serious and not to worry about it much....Out of 15k links analyzed only 56 are do follow

(I jest of course just found it amusing) :)

anyone telling you to not worry about it is delusional.

you have a few options of what you can do
1) wait till you receive a penalty
2) start cleaning up those links and proactivvely prevent it
3) try and build enough diversity with links you build and high pr links that it counterbalances the link spam

You've got it right- your competitor is spamming both of you. You can find the tool he is using and just blast the same links to his domain + the disavow tool. Either he stops or he tanks along with you.
