Seems like you can just call the IRS, get an EIN and start using stripe without bothering with LLC. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks mate.. Will check on that..

You can register your LLC company in Colorado yourself online. It costs $50 for the registration and there is a registered agent (annual fee $40).

How about the documentation fees? I found deal to open LLC on Delaware for $90 but after filling fees and all other charges the to final amount is $400++

$10 a year.

I'm not US resident. I once tried stripe. I got sales $1.6k from my store. Then stripe immediately ask for US resident document. I cant do anything except refund all the money. Damn!

But now stripe offering stripe atlas for those unsupported stripe country who want to use stripe as payment gateway. For $500 they will open US bank account and settle down any documentation needed to make business on US. Maybe you can check it out. I'm not stripe atlas yet haha

Anyone having success with stripe? I'm NON US resident and i have LLC and stripe account.. They have 7 days hold payment which is good compare to paypal 21 days hold. But i heard stripe very strict and they close account without warning.

Close when you break the rules? I don't see any reason why they would close legitimate accounts and lose the revenue.

US card merchants are very strict because they get penalised heavily themselves for allowing certain transactions go through when they shouldn't allow them.

Did you used your LLC with stripe yet?

Is it difficult and long untill I'll get my llc?

Thank you for sharing this!

It's not difficult or complicated, but I would suggest you do your due diligence first.

It should take a few business days max to get the LLC.

I don't use Stripe, so cannot comment there.

That program is only for "innovative" startups, you need to submit an application & wait to be chosen among many others startups, So better create your own LLC .

There is no annual state tax.[/QUOTE]
Awesome, thank you for sharing. Would this have to be done through an agency rather than directly on the state site. Could you advise.

Yes. Add Stripe and put you US "bank details" from Payoneer and Robert is your mums brother.
is it true ?? but i don't have SSN or EIN , will i be allowed (i'm not use resident) to use Stripe ?? even i don't have LLC

Yes, you can use your Payoneer US payment service to receive funds from stripe, but they'll still ask you for a SSN or EIN . SO you have to create a LLC if you are not a US resident .

if u open one american gateway and partner with one international friend, it means all the money go to your US bank account, so i am wondering how much % tax should i pay? it is worth if u just charge 5-10% profit?

Use paypal for your funds for now and later register a company, open a bank account in the name of the company and use it to collect your payment.
