Oh, I have spend my share time on blackhat places on the internet, especially boards on the darknet where more blackhat methods can be found.

For example, a guy I know in my country is doing carding. if you don't know what that is, it is basically buying credit card data and info and then spend it on goods and then sell the goods. At the time I was very low on money (still am lol) and he wanted to involve me with it and I could have made good money with it but I rejected his offer.

Why? It didn't feel good to me, blackhat methods can pay off very well but I just don't feel good about it you know and as you said, most of the time those methods go down fast and in the worse case you could get arrested, fortunately for me I live in a country where punishments are a joke but in some countries you are proper screwed.

Now I don't know how old you are but as you said you are studying I guess you are 20ish, you still have enough time to take the time to research, I'm half way 30's so time is starting to tick and I wasted my 20's on drugs, alcohol, partying, dealing drugs and spending time in prison which was a absolute waste!

Could have been a millionaire by now if I used my brain but instead of that I am nearly broke and just now I am getting a bit more mature.

Only thing I got running for me is that I have a lot of life XP and computers, internet and design has always peaked my interest but just like you and maybe I am one or two footsteps ahead, I am just learning everything

I will give you one advice though, don't buy any of these shitty guides! 9,9 out of 10 it's bullshit! And people selling them are marketing veterans with their beautiful presentations, banners etc, all part of the game while you can find everything you need to know for free.

Always keep in mind these principals:

- If it looks too good to be true, it usually is.
- Use common sense .
- If you create a webshop, blog, landing page, whatever, always critically ask yourself, "Would I buy this?", "Would this appeal to me?" and if the answers is yes, ask your friends/family to take a look and tell them to be brutally honest because it is in people's nature to be nice about things even when they are not. (seen it loadssss of times)

As I said, you still got the time, don't start based on a success story, research it all first.

Well as I said, many Chinese totally suck in English! Start a Ebay account and undercut your competitors!

You will make less profit at the start but you will be building clients and followers.

My only advice to you is that Just don't follow the famous Shopify Method Exactly.
It's already Half-Saturated and more and more marketers are doing same method on same platform, which results in exponential decrease of income.
For example, a year ago IG spammers with Free-Follower niche banked hard with just few accounts.
After some months, a Guy came to BHW and dropped a detailed guide which made over almost 1M views, that's just too insane.
Now what? I can see the damn Free-Followers all over the Instagram lol. It's just too disgusting. Needless to say that niche's income dropped exponentially.

Just take your time seriously to develop your own Niche, Method which can never be saturated and you will be fine. Problem is that's the hardest part but your life will change depending on it.

Does anyone know how frequently the Shopify visitors counter updates? Is it close to real time? I keep refreshing every hour and the number of visitors that have clicked on my store hasn't changed at all. Getting a little worried.

That's a good point, and it makes sense, I just decided to do something, take some action to learn from the mistakes. It's the best way to move forward.

Now I'm currently making some significant changes on the website and my advertise approach.

This is someone who learns very fast, I've been on the Internet since the late 80's and instead of mocking me, actually contribute to the discussion and tell me where I am wrong grandmaster.

Really earning money nowadays is not easy,more and more educate people and the power of internet had change the trend.This shopify method i remember was start by franklin hatchet in late 2015 and start saturated in late 2016.Also,u need to be unique in order to be number 1.I believe this method still work and can be profitable if a twist is apply on it.

This "method" can never get saturated. People have been buying products from china and selling it to people in their country for many many years. The only difference is that you're buying products after you get a sale. There are millions of products on AE and there are millions of more products to come. There are millions of interest you can target with FB ads and there are millions of more interests to come. Your niche may get saturated but this method won't get saturated anytime soon.

You have to spend more time on finding people and not just spending most of your time searching for products. You need to find a passionate niche/audience and do your research on that niche/audience. Don't just watch a few youtube videos and read a couple articles and think you know the niche. You have to dig deeper. Join forums and fb groups that's related to that niche and actually talk to the people that are passionate about that niche.

After you get enough knowledge, find products that you think people in that niche will buy and add those product to your shopify/wordpress store. Then create your fb post that you want to use for your ad. Now take that fb post and post it in the groups for that niche. No more than 10 groups of at least 2,000 members each. See if you get any likes, comments, or SALES from those groups. If you get 0 engagement after 24 hours, delete the posts and try again with a new product or new fb post. If you do get a lot of engagement or sales, then scale it up with fb ads.

Try this before pouring your money in fb ads, failing, and then coming back to BHW and telling everybody it doesn't work anymore or that it's too saturated for newbies.

This is good advice, I haven't used fb ads yet because I first need to know for myself that I have read as much as possible about it.

And yeah, ofc AE dropshipping still works, all I said it is getting harder, more and more people become aware of AE pretty much in every country.

Currently I am busy with a website for a client and also some of my cpa projects but before summer I still want to try some dropshipping to see if I can make some money with it.

Everything can be saturated.
You are making big mistake of assuming linear saturation model which is not accurate in real world.
I don't know but Top 10~100 dropshippers could easily earn 90% of money while the others earn penny and wonder "Why it doesn't work?" "I followed everything as people said" like that.

I didn't bother to find the exact academical term but this can be applied in reverse easily.
Of course it all depends on real world factors and we will see who is right but I heavily doubt it works effectively in 1~2 years.

I don't have pictures of my old website anymore but it was really basic and not engaging with the costumers.

As far as my old ad goes, the main target was women in USA from 21-35 only based on the interest "chokers" with gave me a roughly 800k audience. I made two sales which almost paid me for the ad. I ran the ad for 4 days on $7/day budget. It reached 2 328 people.

In this new ad I decided to narrow this down, by selecting from this category , young adults and working women, which gave me roughly a 200k audience. The ad has been running for 2 days, I made zero sales and I already reached 3 215 people with the same budget.

However, on the first ad I ran that "free" campaign which you only payed for the shipping cost of the product and this one is based on the buy 1 and get 1 free, and I lowered down the prices 50% from which I still get around 400%-600% markup depending on the product.

So...
Test 1: Free product, pay for shipping ( $9.99)
Test 2: Buy 1 get 1 free (chokers from this category cost now ~4.95 and I offer another one) and the shipping is really free.

I need some insights , thank you!

You are just going to have to continue to test. I would think since the niche is very basic, you will need a bigger testing budget. Jewelry without a target audience is HARD. Just letting you know. Unless you can find a specific way to reach an engaged audience (not just young women)...it will likely be a grind. In addition, most jewelry products from Ali can be found in stores. You want to sell unique stuff that are not too easy to find.

Keep testing adsets and just see where it goes. Your site has greatly improved though...much better!

I'm not at my computer at the moment so checking it on my phone, seems it looks a lot better than before.

Only some errors in the English grammar and the left side of the heart is in front of the letter which makes it look a bit weird.

The ad looks a lot better too but I wouldt have used the 2 photos with cheap plastic chokers. Make em all with the beautiful glass ones or at least the better looking ones.

I'm still getting stuck, I've already tried 3 more ad sets, and I'm getting interactions but no conversions.

I decided to set up a promotion on women's day, and it was my most successful post with some shares and almost 100 likes.

My latest ad was a "blog" post, that had several links to my store and products... But still no conversions.

Am I BURNING money solely on the fact that I only sell chokers? Should I expand a bit more and sell maybe some rings or bracelets?

I'm a bit lost now, any suggestions?

Give up and go back to the drawing board. I told you jewelry is the most saturated niche to try..especially if you are not targeting passionate buyers.

A lot of women already have chokers and choker sets for like $5 off ebay so once they buy the set of 10 they would not need anything from your store. The first step is to look for products and find things that are not saturated and people are likely to purchase due to it being trendy or they "need" it. Second step is the hardest in my opinion which is finding the right audience and this requires money and some knowledge with fb ads so you dont end up spending $300 and not finding one well converting ad set.

Yeah I narrowed it down too much, especially with my domain name also, I agree, I should expand more and find the right audience for this.
I'll take some time to come up with a new plan. Thank you
