The Shopify method took one thing to its advantage, getting ppl to sign up for affiliate links out, or ask the op how he did it and he'd pour out affiliate sign up links. The method only worked because ppl were fooled into thinking the items they were getting were worth more than the $10 shipping charge. It's all about being shrewd. eBay has cheaper items, build something from those parts, slap a 2.5x price tag on it, and then give a discount, etc. There is nothing else to it, period.
