[Shopify] Does offsite payment gateway effects sales?

Question is does this redirection effects sales?

Because the scenario is like:
Your Store -> Add to Cart -> Checkout.Shopify -> Billing Adress -> Redirect To Third Party Payment Gateway -> Credit Card Details -> Payment Done

Will this effect sales?
