Hello all...

So I'm in a bit of a pickle.

Turns out I may be sued for trademark infringment.

My company name is very similar to another company name. Im not sure if im going to be sued for posetion of my website however? (Is that even possible?)

Anyhow my question is this....

If I do lose my site, which I have worked so hard to get high in the rankings (like over a years worth of dedicated marketing), can I replace the logo's and URL and keep my rankings? Or maybe just purchase another URL and do a redirect?

Its all a bit confusng to me...ANY help is greatly appreciated!

I seriously doubt that, think about it....Everyone would be doing that. I mean if you could do that everyone would transfer those good ratings to a site they had that had shitty ratings...
I don't think so mate, I could be wrong but if I was a betting man I'd have to bet on you being screwed on that one.....

your logo (images i assume) may not hurt much, but the URL deffenently will.

Just relax for a second man. You have been fine for a year without being Sued and now you get the fear of being Sued. Think about it, if the company was Big and Powerful, then you would have got Sued a long time back .
Our members here can help you better if you can provide your URL. You dont have to fear anything if the company is a One Man company or such
