During the advertising process, payment errors (Payment Method Error) often appear when using personal advertising accounts or low-level BMs, especially when scaling quickly or BMs do not have a clear spending history.
After switching to BM2500 (BM with a stable operating history and daily spending), the payment error situation almost disappeared. In addition, BM2500 helps advertising campaigns get approved faster, with fewer account limits, especially when combined with clean pixels. However, to maintain long-term stability, I have built an additional backup system based on the principle of layering and resource separation.
Some points in the backup system I am applying:
- At least 2-3 BMs operate in parallel. Do not merge the entire campaign into 1 BM, including BM2500. This helps avoid interruptions if there are unexpected incidents.
- Avoid using one tag for multiple ad accounts in BM
- Prepare multiple clean, stable pixels.
- Maintain a few clean, interactive profiles to attach to BM when you need to do quick processing or create new ad accounts.
- BM2500 is used for main scaling, the remaining BMs are used for testing creative, target audiences, or running low-budget remarketing campaigns.
- Having a backup system helps you avoid relying on a single source and helps you react faster when something goes wrong without affecting the entire channel.
- If you have a different way of building the system or have tried a similar model, I would love to discuss further optimization.

Wow thanks dude

so helpful
Thank you very much, I am glad that the information I shared is useful. If you have any other experiences or perspectives, I would love to hear more so we can learn together.

Thanks for sharing I am curious with your backup system running 2 to 3 BMs in parallel how do you manage budget without spreading it too thin Do you keep most of the spend on BM2500 and just keep the others active or balance them more evenly

Bm is being scanned a lot, man.
I also understand that the current situation is that BMs are being swept. I do not use mass-generated BMs through fraud, instead, I use BMs with natural growth limits. This greatly reduces the chance of being swept. Because BMs with a spending history will be more stable.

I typically allocate about 70-80% of my budget to BM2500 as it is the main, stable BM that I use for scaling. The remaining BMs are used for testing new content, files, or retargeting smaller budgets, the goal is to keep the pace of operations and be ready to replace when needed. This way, I don't get overstretched while still ensuring effective redundancy.

That's really detailed, thanks for sharing. In your exp, is it more important to prioritize multiple clean pixels or to spread budget across different BMs for long-term stability?

Prioritizing clean pixels or allocating budgets to different BMs for long-term stability both have their own important roles. Avoid creating pixels on the same BM that owns the ad account, instead keep them separate. Just assign pixel usage rights to the BM that owns the ad account. This can avoid the situation where the BM that owns the ad account is restricted, we can still share pixels with ad accounts in other BMs without having to create new pixels and start collecting customer data from scratch. Regarding budget allocation to BMs, I have a backup plan as mentioned, using BMs with spending history, which have been used for a long time to scale up ad campaigns. New BMs that have no or low spend history, these BMs are now being scrutinized more closely, so I would use it as a fallback, allocating about 20% of the budget to both act as a fallback and nurture those BMs into more stable BMs until they can be used as BMs to scale ads for later.

Solid breakdown, thanks for sharing. I’ve been testing a lighter version of this setup and your approach gives me some ideas on how to strengthen my backup system.

BM2500 is a game changer for scaling. To avoid payment errors, I run at least 2–3 BMs in parallel BM2500 for main scaling and others for testing or remarketing. I also use separate tags, clean pixels, and maintain backup profiles. This layered approach keeps everything stable and reduces risk.
